Bus took forever

Mood: tired
Listening to: The Simpsons

Had to change bus routes cos of new timetable.  The new one is less convenient.  I have a choice of about three buses from one spot within about ten minutes in the morning, but coming back the only one that comes close has a circuitous route.  The bus was late and I arrived, dead tired, over half an hour after it left.  It should have taken 25 minutes.  Not much perhaps, but when it's a Friday afternoon, been a busy day, and you're exhausted, it feels like an hour.

Serenity

Driving home last night I had some mellow instrumental music playing.  The late sun gave everything a golden glow - the yellowing fields, the sheep, the hills - it was very peaceful, not to mention beautiful.  And the clouds were amazing.  We've had some fantastic cloud formations in the past few days - mares' tails and other wisps, modernistic graceful flowing shapes, skeletal shapes like fish, great swathes of cloud in semicircles.  It's been wonderful. Only wish I had film in my camera.

I'm lacking energy

Listening to: cicadas

I must be lacking some essential vitamins or something.

Today's hot - too hot to be outside for more than five minutes.  But I'm headed off to town soon, so I better get ready.

It's the weekend

Mood: pensive
Listening to: noisy laptop

Saturday morning - half an hour left of it and I've only sat here checking for non-existent mail.  I need some company, but I also need to organise.  Since I'm without company that shouldn't be a problem.  But motivation is lacking.  I should write lists of what needs doing.  I can never remember when faced with an empty day.

I really wish Mozilla was consistent....
