All The Small Things

Dear everyone,

I am so sorry that it has taken me so long to write with the news of my life, such as it is.

Its been a really big couple of weeks, as we shall now explore in bullet format, as one is short on time and long on news (PS This is not in chronological order):

• My lawyer is "too busy" to represent me "adequately" so he has returned everything that I had sent him and I must now locate a new person to help me.
• Mr. D. is behaving like a complete and utter tool.
• I located a new lawyer, but must now go through the processes that the other lawyer hadn't gotten around to... which I can't imagine will be easy with everything closed over Christmas & New Year.
• Mr. D. emptied my bank account (by accident, but still) and then had to go and put the cash back.
• So now I have to open a new account and, again, what a pain in the butt over the Christmas /  New Year period.
• Since after emptying my account and telling me that he knew something wasn't right because he had "so much more in my own account", I have decided to swallow my pride and make him pay the maintenance that he aught to have been paying from the start. They are obviously doing much better than me, and if the Govt. says that he should, then he should. Bugger it.
• Mr. D. disagrees. He can get stuffed though, see point number two.
• Nicky is spending Christmas out there, and will come home to me on Boxing Day.
• I'm missing her already.
• Lovely GM and I had a long involved conversation with tears and revelations on both sides, and all is wonderful again.
• He hasn't been drinking.
• He's been exceptionally thoughtful and lovely.
• He's been wonderful with Nicky.
• We're going away in January and taking Nicky with us, and I can't wait.
• He took me out to dinner and a movie last week, which was simply delightful, and we're going out again tonight (to the pub - which should be a real test)
• He's coming to spend New Years Eve with me and my friends.
• Today is my last day of work for six lovely long weeks. Hooray!
• I have twenty minutes to close everything up and get the hellski outski.
• I went to Carols by Candlelight for the first time ever this week and it was awesome. I saw lovely Becks there, and hopefully he's coming out tonight too.
• I dyed my hair blonde.

(Yes you did read that correctly. I am now a blonde.)

I have to tell you the story of going blonde - all did not go as planned, but right now I have to go and shut up the shop so that I can run off and get ready for tonight.
