After an interesting travel around the western part of USA I arrived in San Francisco already. The last week we drove about 5,000 kilometres by car and visited a lot of natural parks. From Los Angeles we drove to the impressive Grand Canyon and overnighted in the forest at a camping ground. From Grand Canyon we reached the Arches, passing Monument Valley and Canyonlands. One day later we reached the most beautiful park in my mind: Bryce Canyon! There we hiked through the Canyon and next day we enjoyed the sunrise
After the nice impressions in nature we visited the most amazing city Las Vegas! It is unbelievable what you can see there and actually there were such a lot of things new since my first stay in 1998. The highlight was the visit of Stratosphere tower, where is a roller coaster on the top in 250meter over sea.
On the way to San Francisco we drove through Death Valley (and survived) and passed the mammut trees in Yosemite park. In San Francisco we visited the Golden Gate, Downtown, museums and Fishers Warf already. Tomorrow we will go to Alcatraz and I hope they let us go back, so we can fly home on Thursday...
All the pictures and the detailed report I will put in internet in middle of October, so look forward to it!
