The famous novel "The name of the rose" written by Umberto Eco was performed at the castle of Heidelberg. The theatre was openair and it was really impressive to enjoy the play in this historical setting. In contrast to last year we were lucky with the weather this time

German President Köhler at TV

After our chancellor lost his majority, our president decided to suspend the parliament and set new election at the 18th of September.

The election campaign started already and I am also involved at the team-leader to support our member of parliament Mr. Meister

I hope we will win the election and the new chancellor will be more successfull...

Together with students from Darmstadt, Frankfurt and Karlsruhe we visited the nuclear power plant in Biblis. It is just 25 Kilometer from my home, but I haven't been there yet.
Of course there are a lot of retentions because of the dangerous, but the guide explained us the technique and now we know, that an accident like Tschernobyl (in 1986) isn't possible in German nuclear power plants. After the explaining we visited the machine hall where the generator is producing electrical power, driven by the hot water from reactor.

At the end of semester the professor of our student group decided to invite us for playing golf. Most of us did it the first time, so we practiced the tee off and putting. After that we went to a nine-whole-course and had a lot of fun during our competition.

The evening ended with a nice dinner and everybody was a winner!

Together with some colleagues from university we had got a traditional soccer game! After a funny game our team won and I shot 3 goals
