a whole new world(coined i know)

Mood: anti...most things
Listening to: the heater rattle

i know its important to help

out people less fortunate,

and those struck by natrual

disaster, but i'm so fed up

with all these artists with

bleeding hearts doing a

publicity stunt by writing a

"disaster song" ......why don't

you donate the money you

used to make the song, and

all the proceeds to them,

instead of making us listen to

a load of crap, and using the

money for your erstwhile

shenanigans?

i ask you.....where has our

decency gone?

I suggest...

Mood: theoretical

Stop looking for the poetry of your soul.

When you are still in the quiet space,

Then the words will find you.

Poem for thought

The problem is

I don’t know

I never have

And don’t think I will.

What I don’t know

Keeps on changing,

Growing so I won’t

I’ve searched the world,

the void.

To find an answer to the problem

That has plagued me soo long

I’ve searched

Franticly,

Meticulously

I’ve managed to

Fail Miserably.

Perhaps there isn’t an answer to what I’ve asked so long,

Maybe the problem lies in asking the wrong question.

      The problem is

                                                I don’t know

                              I never have

And don’t think I will.

jerks

Mood: contemplative
Listening to: aircoditioning-how absurd....

I think that on a basic level everyone is a jerk...really, I mean it. People don't tend to think in any other mindset than wanting what is best for themselves...the worlds problems come to surface around the time no one looks to see is anyone is in the way of their fast track racecar to fufillment. It's not as if I am any better than the majority of the populace, but...maybe thats a bigger problem than some of the others that we worry about. I don't know, but thats how it seems to me. Don't get me wrong...it's great to be fufilled, and happy and sucessful, but the cost more often than not far outweighs the gain, and...once we get there, we find it's rather lonley at the top of the heap, having climbed over everyone to reach it, ... ... ... not many people appreciate getting stepped on or having a pair of heels in their backs, or somewhere else far too unmentionable.(chuckle)
