Hello All

How are y'all? I'm good, i've had a fab weekend of chilling out. Y'all know i mentioned i had to work this Saturday - i didn't!! I gave it to one of my collegues who needed it more than me. Visions of staying in bed did not ring true however!! (I'll tell you about it in a minute!!)

So, Friday at work was cool, found out i got a bonus thins month which is cool! Also, you'll never guess...we're having a Halloween Fancy Dress Day at work tomorrow - how cool?!?!?   I so love it when we do these things, makes me feel young again!!! I'm going as a Devil and my friend is an Angel! I've got a tail and a fork and flashing horns and red false nails and everything!!!! (Can you tell how excited i am?!) I'll try and get pictures y'all!

Also, to top the day off - work is proving breakfast from McDonalds!! I love McD's breakfast, yummy McMuffin, Hash Browns and Orange juice...and then salad for the rest of the day to make up for it! lol!

So, yesterday morning we got up early so we could go into town and buy my costume things. We got up at 8:30 and went into town and got all that stuff and brought four DVD's. Yesterday evening we had a scary movie night for Halloween - oh my god!!

We watched 'House Of Wax' which was sooooooooooooo freaky! It has Paris Hilton in it, which i was a bit dubious about to be honest but it was a good film - if a bit scary!! I couldn't believe when the girl discovered that the whole town was full of Wax people!!! After that we watched 'The Amityville Horror' ---------> OH MY GOD! I was so scared!! I really thought the dude was gonna kill the whole family, and i nearly screamed when he killed the Dog   !!! Seriously, we had fun though - until some kids came knocking on the door at a really scary part of the film!! We then watched the new Batman movie which was fab too - didn't want to go to bed straight after watching the scary movies!!

That has been our weekend really - except that today we have been playing WoW and getting our Troll Mage's up to level 30 which is cool!

Jackie: Yep - it's Manual transmission, though i'm beginning to regret it! Auto would be so much easier!

How have all your weekends been?

Hi Everyone, how are you all?

I'm doing okay. Had a few days this week where i felt like pulling my hair out and screaming out loud but i'm over it now! Friday was a good day and so was Saturday so i've kinda forgotten how bad the week was! (Work stuff, not important)

I had my driving lesson yesterday morning - guess what guys? My instructor let me drive home after the lesson!!   We did roundabouts and 4th gear this week. My next lesson is on Tuesday evening cos i have to work this saturday coming up   it's only 9 til 1 though so i guess its not too bad really, only a few hours.

Hubby and i have been playing World Of Warcraft yesterday and this morning, we're both level 22 now which is cool  

I've got my driving Theory test booked now, it's 26th November. I'll have to start studying soon!!

This morning, when i was looking to have a lie - in til at least 10am (I was up early yesterday for my driving lesson) our next door neighbours little boy was out in the garden banging stuff on the fence, and the rifle club was in full flow, and the church bells were going - it was soooooo noisy for a sunday morning  !!!

Anyways, that was my week / weekend in nutshell really - nothing really happened to be honest!

Hi All

How are you guys?

I'm good, we've had a fantastic weekend of doing absolutely nothing! It has been great!

Thursday and Friday were manic at work, the phones went crazy again and i had nearly 200 cheques to authorise on top of trying to get the rest of my tasks up to date - it was crazy    (That's me in the middle!!)

So, friday evening, hubby and i started playing WoW (World of Warcraft) together. We play as a team, we're both trolls! I'm a Fire Mage and he's a Frost Mage. We've never played together before, only separately cos our internet connection couldn't take us both playing at the same time, but now it's been upgraded so we can play together  

And that is pretty much what we've been doing the whole weekend - except for three hours where we were cleaning the Fish Tank cos it was all grimy and green   

So, yeah - not much to tell you guys really except for that!

Ooooh, i finished reading the last Harry Potter book this week - OMG!! I so wish the next one was out already! I cannot believe what happened at the end though - very sad   i almost cried  (I won't go into it just in case i spoil somebody's surprise - though everyone who cares has probably read the book twice by now!!) I'm reading Terry Pratchett now - 'Hogfather', it is absolutely hilarious! I'm reading it at work on my lunch break and i sit on the sofa giggling away - they all think i'm crazy!! Anyone here a Pratchett fan? I have ALL of his books!

I hope you've all had a fab weekend, not too busy and doing things you enjoy?? Tell me about it, i'd love to know what everyone has been up to   

I'll be off now, gonna clean up a bit, get some housework done before having to go back to work tomorrow!

Hello you guys!

Hope you all are well and stuff? I'm fine, pretty damn tired but doing fine! Lessee, what have i been up to? That's me over there on the sidebar by the way - thought you guys deserved to see a better picture of me!

Well, Friday at work was okay, had a laugh with the girls - ooooh, and they finally moved me so i have other people near me to talk to at work!! I used to be on a bank of desks all on my lonesome but now i'm with my friends Jess, Michelle, Sam, Rachel and Brandon, it makes all the difference!

Saturday i had my fourth driving lesson - my first one in the daytime!! My instructor took me out onto the main road in Canterbury and there was loads of traffic!! It was a bit scary at first but i got used to it after a lil bit. There was traffic lights, narrow roads and impatient drivers to get the hang of but i did okay y'all! I didn't hit anything and i didn't freak out...i'm so proud!   <--------------------- That's me drivin! 

Saturday afternoon was just vegging time! Hubby watched the football and i played a game online - it's called 'World Of Warcraft' anyone know it? If you do let me know, i'll add ya to my friends list! I'm playing a character that's a Mage who is learning Herbalism and Alchemy, there's lots of quests and stuff to do, very cool! Shel will know what i mean even if no one else does!!! Saturday evening we went next door and had a Chinese meal with our neighbour which was yummy! I had Chicken Satay and Special Rice   

Sunday was pretty much the same as saturday really, got up about 8ish, had some brekkie, played game pretty much most of the day really!

So yeah, that was my weekend really, and all back to work today. Not very exciting day...except that it was the work party on Friday night and i got to hear about all the silly things people did when they were drunk - many laughs!

Hello!

I promised i'd come on and write some stuff so here i am!!

The last two weeks have been hectic with work and stuff but last Friday and the weekend were fabulous! We had hubby's dad's wedding on Friday which was fantastic, here are some photos...there's only three and there's none of the bride and groom or anyone else except my hubby because i don't know that they'd appreciate me showing them all on the internet!

So, the wedding was fantastic, very romantic. They were married at a place called Highcliffe Castle in the 'Conservatory' there, very pretty. We then had a lovely three course meal at a restaurant called 'The Lord Bute' which was yummy! I had melon and sorbet, Salmon and veggies and meringue and fresh fruit and choccie wedding cake! The cake was amazing, three tiers of chocolate cake with a covering of solid chocolate curls, i couldn't resist...even though i shouldn't eat chocolate! It makes my stomach go funny...i've got IBS :o(

The weekend was fabulous! We were staying in a lovely hotel in the centre of Bournemouth and we had a little suite which had a king sized bed and a Spa bath...i loved that bath! Oooh, here are some photos of the room:

After we'd had the wedding on Friday, we just chilled out for the rest of the weekend, we visited hubby's mum on saturday and went out for dinner on saturday night. We were going to go out to the Cinema on friday evening but there was nothing on that we wanted to see. We went to visit my mum and my two lil brothers on sunday on the way back home, it was my lil brothers 6th birthday on tuesday last week so we took him his two presents and we chatted with my mum for a few hours before going home again. It took 2 hours to get home y'all! That's pretty good cos it usually takes 3!! On the way home we picked up a KFC for dinner and ate it when we got home. We brought Monopoly on the saturday when we went shopping so we played that when we got home. It's not regular Monopoly but 'Here and Now' Monopoly, you used to  get £200 for passing 'Go' and it cost £100 to 'Get Out Of Jail', now its like 2 Million for passing 'Go' and £500,000 for getting out of Jail! Major Inflation!

Anyways, the washing machine man has just been, took him 5 minutes to get the offending object out of our washer - a Bra Wire! Now it's my fault that it was broken!! I can't believe i took a whole day off for that! You know what these maintenence guys are like though, they don't come out at weekends and when they can come out it's like "I'll be out sometime between 9am on Thursday...and March!" okay, that's an exaggeration...but he did say "I'll be over on Thursday!" - That's like a whole day! Well, he's been now, and we can do the laundry again!!

Hope y'all are well anyways - Shel - I've sent you an e-mail chick, it's a bit long though! Hope everyone else is doing good, i'll try and be on a bit more now...nothing really planned except helping hubby's mum move sometime this month!
