Personality Test

I did the personality test that Shelly had on her blog, here are my results...My entry for today is below this one by the way!

You are a natural performer and can easily bring laughter and merriment to even the most serious moment. You are happiest when your home is filled with people who are all having a good time, particularly when you are the direct source of the merriment.

Because of your shifting focus and upbeat nature, people take you somewhat less seriously than you expect, often because they’re expecting a punchline at the end of your serious statement… and you probably have one ready.

You are very generous, particularly with your possessions and have a somewhat communal, shared idea of possessions among everyone you meet.

You like to wake up each morning without a plan and see where the day takes you, hopefully on some safe but relatively exciting adventure. You begin a lot of projects, but finish few because the details get boring and something more fun is sure to appear.

You like to see everyone living harmoniously and can get irritated by whoever is currently rocking the boat and causing problems.

When faced with a problem you are most likely to solve it in the most obvious way, not implementing cumbersome standard methods or finding what is “socially acceptable” first.

You prefer hands-on, practical work. You may tolerate other types of work, but you’re never happier than when you’re building, fixing or creating something you can see, touch, taste or hear. You prefer work which is not fixed to a procedure, but which may, at any time, take an entirely new direction if the impulse hits you.

As a parent or leader you are non-directive, preferring to see what happens on its own rather than lay down strict procedures and give orders. To you it is understood that any procedures developed by necessity today disappear tomorrow unless they are still absolutely required.

This Weekend

Mood: Happy
Listening to: Radio 5 Live (Again)

Hallo!

Good weekends all? Mine was fantastic!

We went to visit hubby's friend on friday night, his house is right next to a train station (Main line to London) and it felt like every hour the house was shaking as the train went through  Shhhit was so loud! Didn't get a very good night sleep y'all  Pillow

Anyways, we went shopping in Bedford on Saturday morning, i brought me some new trousers and some tops for work, my old tops look huge on me now i've lost weight   Teethyso i had to buy some more!! Hubby brought a new belt and a jumper too, and we brought some DVD's. I got 'Dead Like Me' the first series, Paul got the second series of 'Scrubs' - love those two programmes!! So funny   Too Funny

We then went back to hubby's friends house and they played games on the puter while i read up on my highway code   Reading for my driving lesson on sunday.

We went to hubby's friend's friends house (Got that?!) in the evening for dinner and we went to the Pub next door...they had some really dodgy music goin on in there!  The guys played Cards for a while, they played 'Cheat' which Paul was pretty good at, and another game which i didn't have a clue about!!   Hmm

We left around 10pm to drive  back home again, it took two hours and when we got in we just collapsed into bed we were soooooooo tired!

We got up on Sunday morning at around 10am and did the dishes, then we went out to the pet store to get some bird food for the feeders in the garden and some filters for the fish tank, then we came back to Asda and did the food shopping and went home. We had some lunch when we got in and then cleaned the fish tank...it took forever!! Fishy Our fish tank is huuuuge so it takes forever to empty it, clean it, clean everything in it (Not the fish of course!!) and then fill it back up again! It's all shiny and clean now though! Then we chilled out for the afternoon on the puters where i got down to my DVD's for my driving lessons. Got three now, the practical driving skills one, hazard perception and one about road signs.

At 6pm i started getting nervous about my lesson, i thought i was gonna throw up! I was okay though, and my instructor came to get me at 6:30pm. We drove to a quiet part of town and swopped seats and then i drove y'all!! We went round the block so i could practice left turns and then went round the other way to practice right turns. My clutch control was pretty good and i didn't stall it!! I was really scared for the first 5 mins but after that i really enjoyed it, won't be long before i'm drivin about on my own  Car 5  <----------- I love this lil car!!

Then i came home and we had some dinner, i think i ate too much bread yesterday y'all cos i felt rough after dinner :(

We went to bed about 10pm and got up for work this morning at 7:25am. Was real chilly outside this morning...we had to put the heating on last night cos we was freezing!   Freezing Cold ok, mebbe it wasn't that cold!

Now, hubby's listening to Radio 5 Live again - it's football! and i'm just updating my blog before going for a shower.

Catch y'all again soon,

Shel - hope you had a good weekend? I'm gonna reply to your e-mail in just a second

I shall be off now cos i've rambled too long! Hope y'all still awake?!

Hello y'all

Hallo

How you all doing? Hope you are all good?

My week has been pretty boring really, sleep, eat, work, eat, sleep. Yesterday was rubbish, had a really bad day where everyone at work was not working like i was...it was like they weren't bothered about the call stats or the customers yesterday. I won't go into it, it's all resolved now. Thanx to Shel for the email you sent me, you fantastic!   Bow Down Wave

Today was better. Had a bit of a laugh actually! We had a policyholder call up at 5:25pm (Just before we were leaving to go home) he got to work this morning and parked his car in the carpark. He sent his mate down to the car to get something for him, his mate goes to the car, gets the thing out, closes the door and thinks "Car looks a bit wonky" He takes a proper look and realises......Someone has stolen all four wheels! The car is up on a jack one side and bricks on the other! I shouldn't laugh really but it was funny!! Our policyholders can be hilarious sometimes!!

We're away for the weekend, well, Friday night and Saturday...we're going to visit hubby's friend in Bedford. I got my first driving lesson on Sunday too! I'm soooooo looking forward to it!

Well, now i'm sat here listening to some KT Tunstall and chillin out for the evening. Hubby is playing his game next to me...there's some dude that looks like the Iron Man in his game, he's strutting about on the screen at the moment while hubby is taking on the phone!

We had   Pizza Piefor tea tonight, I had one called 'Pollo' - it's Barbecue Chicken, Spinach, Sweetcorn and Ricotta Cheese...was very yummy! Paul had Margherita as usual. He won't eat any other type of Pizza, not even four cheese! I had yummy Strawberry and Raspberry Sorbet for dessert which was also very yummy!

I got really annoyed this morning. One of the guys that i get a lift with in the morning, this morning he started talking about how he feels like he is getting old and stuff (he's 21 y'all) and he goes on about how he thinks all adults sole purpose in life is to turn 30, buy a house, have kids and get married and he thinks it's pointless to live like that. It made me so angry, i'm sitting right next to him in the car and it's like he's telling me that my life is worthless and boring cos i'm married, i've got a house and i want to have children in the future..............................................

No Just because i'm married (To someone who actually respects me and who i want to spend the rest of my life with...by the way) and we brought a house together (Which is no mean feat for two people under 30 in the UK right now) and i want to have children someday and he has the cheek to sit there and say that it's pointless to live for that. He has no idea. It made me so mad  No No No

Sorry...i'll get off my  Soapbox now!

Hope all your weeks are going fine, i'm off to read some of your blogs now and maybe leave some comments for y'all.

*Hugs*

Amy xx

My weekend...and monday!

Hi everyone!

English Flag ENGLAND WON THE ASHES Y'ALL!!

We were all watching the  Cricket at work today, it was soooo funny! We kept sending someone outside to the restroom to check the scoreboard for the last day! I watched a whole hour at lunch and i nearly fell off my seat with excitement! Kevin Pietersen was fantastic!

Hope you all had a good weekend? I did! Let me tell you about it!

We got up on Saturday morning at 9:30am and had some breakfast before we went into town. We drove into town and the multi storey car park looked real busy, so busy it looked like we weren't gonna be able to park anywhere! In the end we managed to find a space right up the top and got the lift down, it was way busy!

Paul went and got a haircut and while he was doing that, i went and had a look around the new part of the shopping centre that's just opened. I went into River Island, H&M, Zara and Next looking for a new top for father in law's wedding at the end of the month. I tried a few on and got really annoyed cos they all looked pretty awful  Sadly I Can't

Paul called my mobile and told me he was done at the barbers so we met up outside Gap (I love that shop but nothing fits me! i swear it's a shop for twig thn people!!) We went to Burton's and Paul took only 20 minutes to pick out a new suit, shirt and shoes!! They had a deal where you can buy the whole lot for £145 - bargain!! He got a pinstripe suit, blue shirt and some real nice boots, they look very sexy on!

Then we went to Debenhams Cafe for lunch - he had pizza and chips and i had a fruit salad becuase i had a big breakfast - it was yummy!  After lunch we went to Next again and Paul was fantastic! He always manages to find the perfect clothes for me! He picked out a red top with lacy sleeves, a suit jacket and a long woollen jacket for the winter...oooh, and some shoes! He's a genius, i don't know how he does it!

We then investigated the Body Shop cause it smelt like strawberry milkshake coming out of the door!! Turns out it was a body moisturiser! Paul brought me some really light foundation cream thing, a face mask that's one that dries and you peel it off, some lip treatment for dry lips that makes them look fuller and some eye cream! I was spoilt y'all!

After that we brought some picture frames for our wedding photos and then came home and studied all our buys! We were exhausted!

That was pretty much how Saturday went. Sunday all we did was do the food shopping and brought some curtains for the living room cause the blind is broken in there. They're suede effect with a leather strip at the top. We just chilled out for the rest of the day.

My driving instructor called and moved my first lesson to Sunday evening instead of Friday evening which is cool with me, gives me more time to swot up on the highway code before i get out there  Compact!!

Anyways, i gotta be off now, i need something to drink and i'm gonna catch up with the news.

See y'all later

My driving instructor called today! My first lesson is next friday at 7pm...watch out for me on the roads  Compact

Had a pretty regular day today, lots of phonecalls made and taken and lots of work done! I managed to get my tasks up to date so it's lookin pretty good for when I go back in on monday! I love the weekend!!

I'm just sorta rambling on this evening, nothing much to tell except that there's an ickle spider tryin to put me off!  Spider little bug keeps dropping down in front of my screen so i can't see what i'm writing!!

Hubby is next to me playing his game on his puter, he's been playing it all day while i've been at work!! He's had the whole of this week off to do nuthin while i've been at work!

I found some cool smileys this week, let me show ya some!

Shel, this one's for you --------------------->  Cowgirl

A Warning...

Hi all

I just wanted to let you guys know about an e-mail scam that came to my mailbox today.

If you get an e-mail from a supposed Blogigo user named 'WalterMoo' DO NOT reply to it and DO NOT believe what he has to say. He is NOT a genuine Blogigo user and this is not a genuine offer...He says that there is a large amount of money that he is trying to 'relocate to a foreign bank account' and he wants your help.

I know that most of you guys wouldn't fall for this kinda thing but i just thought i'd put a warning up for those who may believe it's real. We can tell that this is in no way legitimate so please, if you get the email from this guy, please report it to Blogigo - someone is using their name (And e-mail directory) to get to their users and offer fake 'deals.'

Thanks for listening

Weekend!

Mood: Happy!
Listening to: Spiderman 2 DVD that hubby's watching.

Hey y'all

Hope you are all well and happy?

I had a great Saturday, on Friday evening after work (I finished @ 7 ) we drove down to Bournemouth to hubby's mum's house, it took 2 and a half hours to get there, and it was well hot!

We woke up on Saturday morning and spent a little time with hubby's niece who's back from South Africa with her mum (She's like 5 or 6 years old) til Wednesday, they've been living there since February and they're living over there til March next year...we miss them

After that we went to pick up our wedding photos (At last   Too Happy 2), the album is gorgeous and the big photo we've got for our wall is fab!! Then we came back and had some lunch with hubby's mum and terry (Her partner) and Olivia (Hubby's niece) and her mum which was lovely. We had Bread and Cheese and salady things...yummy!! We sat down for a bit and watched some Football - England v Wales for the World Cup qualifier, i was quite bored so i read the saturday papers. Paul and I then went out and booked the hotel that we're staying in for his Dad's wedding, it's called The Royal Exeter and its real posh! We booked a suite with a Jacuzzi bath, it's gonna be so cool! Gotta wait til the end of September tho, not long  Way Too Happy

So then after Tea at Paul's mums we sat down for a while and watched some of the Proms on BBC, it's a classical music thing where like a huge Orchestra plays classical music for 'ordinary people' at the Albert hall in London, it was fantastic!

We drove back last night, took 3 hours cos there were lots of diversions...i was nearly asleep in the car by the time we got back! We got in and went straight to bed cos we was knackered!!  Tired

Anyways, got up this morning, had a shower and then we went to the supermarket and got some food for the week, we also got some yummy Strawberry Cheesecake for dessert tonight  Chompy

We's gonna chill out for the afternoon now and do nuthin!

Hope y'all had a great weekend so far?
