The first day of the Year Rooster

The first day of the year rooster is the 9th Jan. 2005. as usuall most of park is Beijing were decorated with special red things to create holiday atmosphere. at this day I was showing Mr. alejandro & Mrs. who are coming from the other nation and working in Beijing right now, to participate the Temple Fair of Ditan.-

 

One of the city's busiest temple fairs, Ditan Park is the site of the altar where sacrifices were formerly offered to the earth god, and this year's fair will open with a performance imitating the Qing Dynasty sacrificial ceremony. Activities and events during the fair will include folk performances, fashion shows and a food 

           

street.and compare to the past ten year's Temple Fair with so many old traditional games replayed in this year. in that case means people pay attention to keep Nation' s culture at current modern time.      Temple fairs contain traditional folk performances and acrobatics, alongside a number of fairground attractions which wouldn't look out of place in a number of other countries.

The Ditan Temple Fair, one of the most famous in Beijing, has already seen over 500 foreign visitors.

It is thought that foreign ex-pats are becoming increasingly willing to stay in China during the lunar New Year holiday period.

and as well as wedding sedan chair show which was used for wedding ceremony during the 100 years ago in Qing dynasty.

              

and people were participating the fair from baby to the very seniority.all of them were delighted enjoyful.

               

One of baby was taking cared by his mother,farther,and grandfather and grandmother and his uncle...

Well this picture remind me, i had asded this cool guy what was he looking for ...because who was standing in a cold with strong winds air for over 5 hours to wait his lovely bride was carried by the manpower chair but when he met two sedan chair he was puzzled by this ...hardly to recognized who is his bride ...

              

              

till the very late, we got out of the  Temple Fair of the year of Rooster inmeshed one by one people ....and while on our way back home we were talking about the feelings on this holiday in Beijing Mr. Alejandro said" oh,Yeah,we would say last night was very  happy and enjoy that fireworks very much and today also very impressive."
