Growing Sims

I decided, after playing a couple of Sim days of the Random family, that I really wasn't interested in playing most of them.  Terence and his family of six kids were tedious to play with and all the kids look the same.  It's another generation of that Random face - dark hair, wide eyes, flat nose - not attractive at all and they were virtually clones of each other.

So, after taking a family photo

I killed them off.  Lynette had gone to uni so she was spared, but Terence and the remaining five kids (the toddler, Catheter, had just grown to school age and the twin boys were teens) drowned in a newly built swimming pool.  Kaylynn managed to set fire to the kitchen by herself so I just got her a bit closer and she burned to death. 

I also killed off Charlotte Random who was on her own and just waiting for death, basically.  She starved to death.  Candida's son, Cardio, went to uni and returned and is now living with his father, Ted Trimble.  He has the wide-eyed Random face with the more pointy-nose variation so I might kill him off as well (this is Cardio at uni, talking to Rob's son, Robert [see Kent]).

Connor's daughter, Carine, has gone to uni.  She looked ok as a kid but she looks rather masculine as a student.  Not sure what to do with her yet.  I'll spare Connor and Carla, and Carla's pregnant just days away from becoming an elder.

I'll also spare Hortensia and Cleve.  They are now grandparents.  Theophile and his wife, Valley, now have a daughter called Lumiere.  That's about all that's left of the large family of Winette and Gordon and their 10 children.

I haven't updated in ages.  Mainly because I haven't played much Sims 2 lately!  The addiction was broken by Grand Theft Auto IV combined with lack of access to the computer.

I played the Randoms briefly last night.  So a quick update from the surviving family members.

I had forgotten that Enid was dead.  Hortensia and Cleve don't seem to be on good terms with each other.  Cleve has just turned into an elder.

Charlotte and Johnny were getting on fine.  Teri dropped by to see him.

But then something weird happened.  They were all in the tub together then Johnny got out and the spa pool seemed to catch fire.  Johnny caught fire and died quickly...  It happened so quickly and I was so confused that I didn't catch it 'on film'.  Teri didn't seem concerned and she went home.  Charlotte was understandably upset.

She was alone.

Nothing much happening at Terence's. 

Connor's daughter, Carine, has gone to university.

At Candida's, just before she turned into an elder, Ted had a visitor.

Candida was in the house and realised what was happening.

She gave Ted his marching orders.

Cardio was upset to lose his dad.

Michaela didn't worry.  Ted wasn't her dad anyway.  She invited her dad round and Mike just watched TV.

It was time to update on the Randoms before I head back over to Veronaville.

Enid was still angry with Josh even though he was dead.  She was 61 and Hortensia was 65 so she had to catch up to her twin.  She milked the cow plant and suddenly gained a few days so she was then 56.  I was too lazy to fast forward her life to catch up so I made her take the cow plant's tasty looking birthday cake.  She died as Josh had.

Terence, you may remember, had five kids, with another on the way.  The sixth child was born - another girl, called Catheter.  Terence had a bit of a hard time coping with 3 screaming babies.

Kaylynn mostly slept.  The older kids didn't help much.

Finally Lynette grew into a teen.

At Connor's house, his daughter, Carine, also grew into a teenager.

His wife, Carla, flirted with Gilbert Jacquet.

Connor's criminal career is stagnant.  He was demoted and is still just a getaway driver.

At Candida's, Cardio also grew into a (strange-looking) teenager.

Michaela's father, Mike Kent, visited and spoke to his daughter probably for the first time.

Mike and Candida are still pretty friendly.

Theophile Charvat (Hortensia Random's son) and Valley Greenwood moved into a house on stilts in an undeveloped area of Pleasantview.  They had their wedding under the house.  Guests included family on both sides and Theophile's ex-roommates, Alexander and Cornelius.  Others appeared, uninvited.

Glen Greenwood, Cleve Charvat, Brooke Greenwood, Alexander, Gaia Greenwood and Cornelius Huntingdon.  Alexander and Cornelius look like they've visited a pub beforehand.

After a successful wedding party (despite Cornelius fighting with Alexander again),

Theophile went off in the limo, but somehow Valley was too busy doing dishes, people were in the way, and she didn't make it.

Agatha Huntingdon and Lilith Pleasant were there too.

On his return from the honeymoon of one, Theophile and Valley went to the bedroom.

Valley is now pregnant.  She wants to be as she comes from a family of 6 kids.

Brief updates coming as I've been playing several from different families (see Pleasantviewsims for other updates).

Theophile, son of Hortensia, was at Sim State in the same dorm as Alexander Goth and Cornelius Huntingdon.  The three of them moved out to a rented house.  It was only then that I discovered that Alexander and Cornelius really didn't like each other (see the next update for pic).

Theophile wanted a potential marriage partner and initially settled on Katerina Miller.  But she wasn't marriage material because she wanted 20 simultaneous lovers...

Theophile had invited his parents round once but Katerina made the mistake of flirting with Theophile's father, Cleve.  Hortensia and Theophile weren't too pleased with either of them.  Poor Cleve had done nothing.

The nanny-looking woman is some professor.

Since that relationship didn't work out and Katerina left (she and Linda had moved in), Theophile tried his seduction on a little girl he fancied called Brooke.

When he invited her round one night her dad came with her.  It was only then that Theophile realised that she was still pretty young (7 days away from teenhood) and had a protective father escorting her.  Luckily for him, the girl had an older sister called Valley.

Valley ended up proposing to him after she moved in to replace Katerina.

Finally Theophile graduated (with a major in literature).

He moved back to Veronaville and Valley followed.  They moved into a small house in Pleasantview.

In another dorm, Johnny Random and his half sister, Nancy? had arrived.

Will they actually finish uni?  Will Johnny continue to see Teri (who's in another dorm)?

Next - Cornelius.

Over at Charlotte's, Johnny grew into a teen.

But that evening, his father Willy, was met by the Grim Reaper (in the bathroom, naturally).

He was just 65.  His relationship with his son hadn't got past zero, so Johnny wasn't at all concerned and he was left nothing in the will.

At Connor's, Connor grew into an elder.

The nanny wasn't up to scratch and was fired,

while Carine amused herself in the car.

Finally, over at Candida's, Mike Kent's daughter, Michaela, grew into school age.

While Terence continued working, Kaylynn continued being a baby factory.

She gave birth to another set of twins - two girls - Cessna and Corona.  The household became a bit chaotic.

Puddle kindly donated by an idiotic nanny.

The babies didn't get a lot of attention - just the occasional nappy change.

Terence who had now got old:

Magic!

He seems to have lost his eyesight/marbles, something.

Anyway, the time came for toddler boys and baby girls to grow up - at the same time.

Terry was first, although he was a tired little mite.

Then Gordy...

It's going to be tricky to tell them apart.  Meanwhile Kaylynn is worried about  how badly she stinks and she's desperately tired.  Terence was at work, so the babies screamed...

Finally he came home, and although both parents desperately wanted to sleep, they eventually got the babies' nappies changed and ready to grow up.

Lynette this whole time looked after herself.

Theophile Charvat, son of Hortensia and Cleve, went off to uni.

At Josh and Enid's, Enid planted a cow plant in the front yard, hoping it would eat any annoying neighbours.  Josh fed it.

Josh, who has recovered from his watery affliction at home, continued seeing Maggie and his daughter Megan (pictured below).

While there, Maggie gave him a makeover.  Josh later invited Maggie over while Enid was at home.  Maybe he wanted to get caught or maybe he wanted Enid to move out or force him out, so he could live with Maggie.

Enid's fury grew...

Having won the fight, Enid asked Maggie to leave, then lectured Josh.

She didn't break up with him.

The next day after Enid went to work, Josh invited one of the Caliente sisters over for a snog.  He went outside to wait for her and feed the cowplant, but saw, instead, the cowplant offering him some lovely cake.  Josh couldn't refuse - what a nice cowplant...

Josh wasn't there to greet her - "there was just this you-know headstone - it was weird".  So she went home.

Enid didn't seem too concerned.

So, Enid, age 61, is on her own again.  Perhaps she'll invite ex-husband Renaud Fancey back.

Sorry about these brief updates.  I've had the tendency lately to play a couple of Sims days for each branch of a family.  That's the trouble when a family breaks up and goes different ways.

Starting with the youngest, Candida:

Ted and Candida finally got married, even though each of them want to date others.

Tyler, meanwhile met with an unfortunate accident...

Over at Connor's, he spent some time playing with Carine.

Carine seems like she might become a Knowledge Sim.

At Terence's, Lynette grew into a school-age child.

The twin babies as you can see in Lynette's picture, grew into toddlers.

Gordy is a pain in the arse.  As a baby he did nothing but cry even though he got more attention than Terry.  I wonder if he'll be the same as a toddler.

They never interract with each other though.  I've seen pics of toddlers fighting over a toy or something but that's never happened with any of my toddlers.  They basically ignore each other like the other doesn't exist.

One night when everyone was asleep and Lynette was just reading a book, Ted Trimble just walked into the house and started playing a game.

Next - Charlotte.  She had a birthday party to celebrate her turning into an elder.  She invited the whole family but only her two remaining brothers turned up plus Josh McTavish and a friend.

The party was a disaster even though everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves.  Never mind - she and Willy celebrated in the spa later.

Willy tried playing with Johnny but there's still very little relationship between them.

Nothing much happening at Enid's.  She got promoted to Animal Linguist.  Josh still has his watery affliction at home only.

At Hortensia's, Theophile got friendly with new neighbour Brook Greenwood.

But just after she left he grew into a teen.

I followed the lives of the Randoms for two of their days and here is an update, starting with the oldest.

At Enid and Josh's.  Josh still has his watery affliction but when he goes to other lots he doesn't.  He took Dina Caliente on a date and they had a good one at Crypt-o-night.  Enid is old and haggard looking so Josh may go on more dates.  She has that ghastly complaining old people's voice which is enough to put anyone off.  Enid was promoted to Rogue Botanist.  Maggie invited Josh over to meet his (now school-age) daughter, Megan.

You can't see Megan's face but to me she looks Scottish...!  Renaud had to move out of Maggie's tiny apartment so Megan could have a bed.  Megan's nanny is just as useless as all the others.  Megan and Maggie were asleep when the fire alarm went off.  Maggie rushed downstairs to see the nanny just standing there stupidly with her back to the fire (which she'd caused).  She just watched Maggie panic.  Stupid old bags.  I'd love to kill them off..... (hmmm).

Hortensia (I think I've been calling her Hortense all this time), being Enid's twin, is also old.

Theophile is about to be a teenager.

At Charlotte's - nothing much happening there.  Willy is getting to know his son and Johnny doesn't seem to like him much. 

At Terence's Kaylynn is pregnant again.  The twin babies will be toddlers shortly.  Henry's gravestone was sold off - one less ghost to scare the children.

At Connor's Carine grew into a child.

Nothing happening at Tyler's either.  I'm getting bored of him and will just let him fast forward to death, I think.

At Candida and Ted's they had a bad infestation of cockroaches - inside the house as well as outside.  The exterminator actually came this time - seems they'll only come and do it if there are cockroaches inside the house.

Candida's daughter by Mike Kent, Michaela, grew into a toddler.  She doesn't look too pretty.

Next an update on the Broke family.

Johnny was a naughty little toddler - he got into the dogfood,

ate it and threw it in the air.

Litle monkey.  But he grew into a child soon enough but I don't have pics!  Next time.

Charlotte invited Willy round, feeling sorry for him.  Cyd sussed out was happening and moved out with Porthos (who'd just got a promotion).

Porthos off to work in the cute little car.

Charlotte asked Willy to move in.  He did, of course.  They then got married.

Willy could now get to know his son and perhaps find some peace.

Over at Terence's house, Lynette grew into a toddler and Terence taught her to talk.

Kaylynn gave birth - to twin boys.

Gordy and Terry named after their grandfather and father.

Nothing much happening with the rest of the Random family.

That's all from Pleasantview for now.  A new family has moved into where Connor's shack used to be.  They bulldozed it and made a new house.

They are the Greenwoods - a couple and 6 kids.  Space is tight but the teens will move out shortly.

From left Starlight, Forest, Herne, Gaia, Brook, Glen, Moonrise and Valley - yeah modern day hippies you could call them.  I probably won't blog about them cos I won't be playing them much unless I'm bored with the rest.

Just a brief entry to show a weird thing that happened to Josh (Enid's husband).  He was in the shower (which needed repair) and I got him to repair it after he had his shower but when he walked out - he was now the leaking one, not the shower.

Whatever his hands did, the water followed, spraying in arcs - even when hugging Enid.

I wonder if it will go away at all or stay with him to his death?

Josh's daughter, Megan (by his lover Maggie), grew into a toddler (actually I think by now she's a child but I don't have pics).  Here she is dancing next to Renaud Fancey.

Not the clearest of pics.  Sometimes I can get close and other times I can't - don't ask me why.  Renaud will have to move out as it's only a one-bedroomed apartment and Megan needs his bed.

Coming up, another update on the Randoms - babies grow and more are born.

Before I start on the Randoms I had to start with something random - while at Devon's I saw a ghost with a hat floating around out of the corner of my eye and then, when I found it, realised it was a gardener.

How? Who?  Had the Lillard's gardener died on the property?  Did the gardener work late and get scared to death by a ghost and become a ghost herself?  Come to think of it, the place is looking a bit overgrown.  To make things even more confusing her name was Meredith Lillard.  A bizarre coincidence?  The Lillards hadn't lived there before Victor moved in.  So a total ?.

OK, where to start.  I'll start with Charlotte.  Her son Johnny is a pretty ugly kid close up but anyway, he learned to walk.  

Cyd and Charlotte finally made it to the bedroom and woohooed.

Terence and Kaylynn became parents of a girl they named Lynette.

Now there were two babies in the house.  (That's Mike Kent visiting, after he'd just been woohooing with Candida.  Terence is about to feed Cardio).  Cardio grew into a toddler.  Here he is with auntie Kaylynn.

Kaylynn immediately got pregnant again. Terence suggested that Candida and her son move out because he and Kaylynn are going to need the space – Kaylynn wants 6 kids at least.

Ted Trimble had moved into a house and left Brooke outside, which is where she stayed until she was picked up by the social worker.

Ted was busy chatting up one of the Caliente sisters...  Once Brooke was gone, Candida was free to move in without fear of losing her son.  So, Candida finally left the family home and moved in with Ted.

Nanny problems extended to Connor's house.  Here's the nanny busy at work...

Carine grew into a toddler when the nanny was around.

She looked like a boy so Carla went shopping for some girly clothes for her.  I'm also sick of the default panda suit on all the toddlers. 

Carla gave up her job as a bookie and looked for an opening in the medical career.

Tyler paid $5000 to the gypsy woman for a decent blind date. The trouble is it was Cara Newman who’s living with Mike Kent and has two kids. If that’s the gypsy’s idea of an ideal date, she’s feckin’ useless. So Tyler tried again, paying half that and got some local townie he’s seen around anyway. What a waste of money. The date was only “okay” and when Tyler tried calling her she was always at work (thieving).

Coming up, a visit to the Moles house in Strangetown. Be warned, it's not pretty. 

You may remember Tyler was happy that Melissa moved in.  Well all his brothers and sisters seem to have married or had kids so it was time to marry him off and maybe start a family.  Tyler proposed in the bathroom.

Tyler didn't bother inviting friends or family to a wedding so they just got married outside by the spa pool.

Tyler's happiness was short-lived however.

While preparing something to eat, Melissa was hassled by Nigel's ghost.  It put her off her food so she was close to starving.  She then had something to eat and was about to go to bed (after falling asleep at the table) when Nigel scared her again and she died of fright.

Tyler tried pleading with the Grim Reaper but it was too late.  His new wife, a restauranteur, was gone.

Tyler has a couple of options.  Kieran could move back in or he could get friendlier with a blonde woman he knows.  Tyler's sister, Candida, suggests that the house is cursed - four deaths in the house (with one resurrection).  Well, that's what I imagine she said when talking about ghosts to Tyler. 

Tyler's other option is to send the graves to a cemetery to prevent Nigel hassling anyone else.  Good idea, I think.

Terence and Candida didn't have partners.  But I looked at their relationships and discovered that Candida had a friend called Ted Trimble so there was potential on the horizon.  Meanwhile, Terence had no luck looking through the telescope to be abducted.  The only female that was a possibility was the maid, Kaylyn Langerak, who was the same maid having an affair with Don Lothario and Daniel Pleasant.

Candida invited Ted round and he eventually moved in.

Terence, meanwhile, flirted with the maid.

So brother and sister had success at last.

Ted and Candida tried for a baby and Candida got pregnant.  However, neither Ted nor Candida wanted to marry each other.  So it didn't look like the baby would be a Trimble.

Terence finally got Kaylyn to move in and accept his proposal.  But she was now out of a job.  Ted was also unemployed when he moved in but he got a job as a dishwasher.

Kaylyn went clothes shopping after moving in (since she only had her maid uniform to wear) and planned the formal clothing for the wedding.

The wedding was held the next day and Kaylyn invited Terence's family (except Connor).

Sitting in front of the heavily pregnant Candida is a dark-skinned toddler with blonde hair.  It's Ted's adopted daughter, Brooke.  For some reason he rang the adoption agency and they didn't double-check to see if he was sure he wanted a child (or he would have said no).  The toddler was delivered on the morning of the wedding.  She largely remained ignored and had nowhere to sleep except on the floor.

Just after the wedding, Candida gave birth and had a boy she called Cardio.

Terence changed his nephew's nappy.  Candida and Ted didn't want to change nappies.

Brooke continued to be ignored, and now the baby was born there was a danger they'd both be taken away.

So Ted moved out with Brooke, leaving Candida and the baby and Terence and his now pregnant wife.  Candida didn't seem to miss Ted at all.

Charlotte Random is still in love with Willy and invited him round.  But now she had a lodger she didn't ask Willy to move in, knowing he'd probably refuse anyway.  They did, however, "woohoo", but a short while after Willy's departure, she discovered she was pregnant.  Charlotte and lodger, Cyd, began to get closer and are now at the romantic hugging stage.  You could see Cyd starting to get interested in Charlotte every time he saw her.  She liked him anyway so when he started coming onto her, she was ready.  Charlotte helped Cyd train his dog, Porthos and now Porthos has a job in the entertainment career. Will Charlotte marry Cyd?  He's quite a bit younger than her.

Charlotte had the baby - a boy - and called it Johnny.  Now Willy has five kids - 4 girls and a boy.

Nothing much happening with the other Random siblings, except the least-expected of changes which happened to Connor.  He was living in a shack and slowly going crazy, panhandling, and needing visits from the shrink.  But, it appears, he'd made friends with a female in my absence!  Connor invited her over and in no time at all Connor had his very first kiss.

Her name is Carla and she's in the same criminal career so he must have met her through work, obviously.  He asked Carla to move in and she nodded.  The shack was no good though, so they moved out and moved into a proper house. 

Connor wasted no time in asking Carla to marry him as soon as they arrived at the new house.  He couldn't believe his luck when she said yes.  But in his haste to leave the shack, Connor left behind his belongings, including his TV and telescope.  So the new couple had to start from scratch.

They went clothes shopping for Connor and got married the next day, not bothering to invite any guests.

Carla wanted a baby so she didn't waste any time in trying for one.  It took three tries though.

Connor's had a bit of a makeover.  What a turnaround!  From a sad lonely hermit in a shack desperately seeking a UFO for company, to a married man in a two-bedroomed house about to become a father.

Carla had a girl and named her Carine.  It has her colouring. 

So, three new babies in Pleasantview! - two new third generation Random babies and the first third generation Broke.

Nothing much has been happening with the Randoms.  Starting from the eldest:

There was another fire at Nigel's place.  This time, instead of Kieran catching fire, it was Nigel and, sadly, he died.  Kieran didn't think of pleading with the Grim Reaper he was in such a panic and distraught.  So that leaves us with 3 remaining Random boys out of 6.  Now the girls outnumber them.  Kieran was now on his own and he started flirting with local, Goopy Fancey (what a name!).  Thankfully Goopy is extremely gay and they got on well.  However, Goopy wasn't willing to move in.

No update for Hortense who married Cleve and had a son, Theophile.

Enid was still angry with husband, Josh, for cheating on her (with his former partner, Maggie).  Maggie had Josh's child - a girl called Megan who has just become a toddler.  Josh has since got very friendly with Dina Caliente but they haven't woohooed yet.  Enid doesn't know about that one so she's starting to forgive Josh and they can sleep together again.

Charlotte was still upset about Willy moving out and marrying the baby machine, Brandi Broke.  She tried to get Willy over and move back in but, although he would kiss and hug Charlotte, he wasn't willing to leave his wife and kids.  Charlotte now has a new man living with her in desperation of finding someone.  It's the bin Sim Cyd Roseland and his dog.  Cyd is quite a bit younger and he doesn't seem that keen on Charlotte so far.  She likes him though.

Terence still lives with his youngest sister, Candida.  Nothing much going on over there.  I'm trying to get him and his twin, Connor, to stargaze every night but neither of them are getting abducted.  There are no women that Terence is interested in.  Are all the Random men gay?  Candida hasn't got friendly with any men yet (except for married or 'taken' men).   Youngest Random, Henry, you may remember is deceased.  His ghost is red and very angry and seems to want to go to bed.

Connor is living in his little shack on the edge of town.  He's slowly going insane, panhandling at the roadside at every opportunity.  He's lonely and has no friends but spends all the time he's not at work, just trying to survive.  Very sad.

Tyler has since moved out of the house where Dustin and his new wife, Angela, live.  Angela is now pregnant and it was time for Tyler to leave.  He moved in with Kieran (but he's not gay).  He invited Melissa Fancey over and she moved in.  Tyler was very happy about that.

Kieran, however, was not, and has moved out. (Melissa's first action was to install a fire alarm above the stove!)

Oh, the very latest news from the Broke family.  Brandi had twins again!  Two more girls!   The older twins, Joelene and Jeanette grew from toddlers so at least they can look after themselves.  I've moved Chip into his little sleepout (with a door this time).  The new twins are Nancy and Noelene.  Willy was asleep when they were born.  Poor guy might want to move out now.

Cleve had moved in with Hortense.  He proposed one morning.

She accepted.  Cleve is still unemployed, not having found a job he wants, so Hortense waited until she had a day off to invite guests to her wedding - all family.  Everyone but Tyler turned up (he moved out and is in limbo - the Sim bin).

Things were going along quite well - everyone behaving themselves.

But, alas, Connor and Terence just couldn't help but fight, like they always had.

Terence starts.

Connor reciprocates.

It got so bad that Hortense had to ask Terence to leave.

Meanwhile, Charlotte's friend Willy, had met Brandi Broke at the gym one day and got to know her.  She invited him over a couple of times and they got friendly.

While they were having fun, Brandi's youngest, Chip, was neglected.

Even her eldest, Dustin, ignored the pleas of the toddler.

Dustin has since grown up and moved out (he didn't like Willy anyway).

Brandi wanted another baby (she had 3 boys) and sure enough, she got pregnant.  She visited Willy one night when Charlotte was at work.  Unfortunately she came home to find Brandi, heavily pregnant and caressing Willy.  She was not too pleased and fought with Willy when she woke to find Brandi still there - in underwear.

But it was too late for Charlotte.  During the night, Willy had done the honourable thing and proposed to Brandi.

She accepted...

I've mentioned how alike the Random males look and the females all look pretty similar too.  They're like clones of each other.  So here they are (or most of them):

The eldest, Nigel, Libra.  Started off as a pick-pocket in the crime career, but is now a bit player in the entertainment career.  Lives with lover, Kieran.

One of the twin girls, Hortense, Aquarius.  Here she is visiting Charlotte's place at a family get-together but her sister, Enid, didn't show up.  She's in the medical career as you can see.  Enid basically looks the same but with her long hair out.  Strangely, Enid, the twin, is a Gemini.  Hmm.  More on the twin girls later.

Next oldest are twins, Woody and Charlotte.

Woody, Aries, at his brother's house.  He was in the military career and had been flirting with Nigel's boyfriend, Kieran.  Sadly he was attacked by flies in the kitchen and died swiftly, leaving only a pile of ashes that Kieran considerately swept up before crying.

Woody's twin, Charlotte, strangely a Pisces.  She's pretty low down in her career - currently a gas station attendant or something.

Next oldest is Terence who was forced to be the adult to the rest of the siblings in the family home.

Terence is also a Pisces.  Here he is partying at Charlotte's house, Hortense in the background.  I can't remember what job he has.  Poor guy has no friends or girlfriends.

Next oldest, Connor, who nobody liked.  Connor's also a Gemini. He lives alone in his little cottage at the edge of Pleasantview out of sight and mind, so that when I spent a couple of days each with the siblings, I forgot completely about him.   So his age won't be correct compared to the others.

Adopted Tyler has just grown to an adult - he'll move out shortly.  Henry's dead.  That leaves Candida, yet another Pisces. 

She's only just become an adult so has no job.

Back to the twins where interesting things are happening.  Enid had met and married local wide-mouthed, flat-nosed Sim, Renaud Fancey (Why are there so many of them?  The blond guy in the pic above is another of them.)  She'd only just moved to an apartment with new husband when she met Josh McTavish.  Josh and Margaret are not married but were on the way to being engaged.  Enid and Josh's love for each other blossomed quickly.  Enid invited him over and he moved in.  That left Renaud with nowhere to sleep.  He moved out - and into Margaret McTavish's place.  While there he invited Enid over to break up.  She was now free to re-marry - Josh.

And here they are marrying just like that - no ceremony at all.

Hortense wants to be a werewolf but she never gets visited by Balin which is, apparently, the wolf she needs to get friendly with in order to become one.  Anyway, Hortense had a liking for a Sim I'd never seen - probably through chatting online.  She invited him over.

His name is Cleve Charvat (or something).  Clearer pics later.  Hortense invited him to move in, which he did.  Apparently he was a student, so he became an adult on moving in and is, of course, unemployed.

So there we have the Randoms.  8 siblings left, now all adults.

Long time, no visit.  So far:  Eldest son Nigel had moved in with gay partner Kieran.  Brother, Woody, also moved in with them.  The twin girls were in a modern apartment on the other side of Pleasantview.  Charlotte, Woody’s twin sister, had moved in with a loner called Willy Brannon.  Next oldest, Terence, was an adult, and living with the rest of the siblings in the family home – Connor (who fought with Terence and Candida), Tyler, Candida, and Henry, all teens.

In my absence Enid, one of the twin girls, had fallen in love with Renaud Fancey.  To make things easy I married them off and they moved into a nearby apartment.  The apartment the twins were in wasn’t big enough for three.  Twin sister, Hortense, doesn’t have any boyfriends, but is very interested in becoming a werewolf.  We’ll have to work on that one.  But, soon after moving into the new apartment with her new husband, Enid was coming on to visiting Scots neighbour, Josh McTavish. [I made him long ago and have done nothing with him or partner, Maggie.  I’m not even sure they’re married (I think I forgot to put any links between them), so she could, potentially, be a sister.]

Connor became an adult and moved into a tiny hut on the edge of Pleasantview.  Is he a hermit-type?  Will he be like Victor and go around poking people in the chest?

Charlotte and Willy went from barely speaking to each other to now getting on a lot better – including in the bedroom.  I thought Willy might be a suitable potential partner for Sim resident Brandi Broke but they haven’t even met and don’t appear likely to except through the Randoms.

The youngest, Henry, got sick, due to stomping on cockroaches.  He also got food poisoning by eating old food.  But he didn’t rest like the others did.  He continued to stomp on cockroaches and neglecting to eat, so that eventually he had turned black when the ghost of his dearly departed adoptive mother scared the living daylights out of him.  So he died outside by the corner of the house.  9 siblings left.  I don’t intend letting many of them breed – the neighbourhood would be over-run by Randoms.  (Two of them are gay anyway.)
