Collie update and others
Well, Mellon finally graduated with her degree in Psychology. She moved into a small house just around the corner from the family home. She got a job in the political field. Ben became an adult and moved in with her and was the happiest he's ever been. Helen grew into a little girl and the baby has been born - another boy, called Ken. Just as well they grew up at the same time, as the parents were too mean to buy another cot. So Ben moved out, Steven got his room and Helen could go from the cot to Steven's bed. It all worked out well. Manon seems to want another baby but they're going to be elders soon, so I think we'll stop there. A houseful of kids gets too much to handle.
Meanwhile Jean-Philippe is not getting much of a social life. He loves jumping on the couch so that keeps him happy for a short while. He'll have to go downtown and meet some more people. There aren't many students in the dorm (6 bedrooms, I think). There seem to be an awful lot of dark-skinned redheads at Academie le Tour. It just looks weird.
His father, Raoul, and wife, Katelyn are trying to have a baby. No luck yet. They had a party but nearly all the people left shortly after a toast to Jean-Philippe. Never mind - Raoul and Katelyn were having fun. Meanwhile the gardener couldn't leave because of the grocery delivery truck parked in front, with the delivery guy hanging around, stuck. No groceries yet! Seems to be another glitch. I had one with another family when the mail delivery guy kept trying to deliver mail - again and again and again. I exited without saving so he'd go away. I wonder what will happen to the delivery guy....
Two new students have arrived at another dorm. Akiko Takahashi, who I hope will meet Hiroshi, and a long-haired hippy called Dan.
Over in Strangetown I've added a woman to Kruschev's household so she can take advantage of his friendship with Patrick and get to know him better. I don't think Kruschev is too happy with the arrangement as he likes to keep to himself. He likes looking through his telescope anyway, so they don't see much of each other. The new woman, Yavanne, is becoming friends with a local blonde woman.
I think I have enough characters to be going on with. I've been neglecting Gerd and the Maniere family. Sonique should try to get into college and lust after all the male students.
