Mood: Happy. I'm going on vacation with my better half. :-)

Good Morning,

 Scott & I are going away for the long weekend, but we're making the weekend last til Memorial day. Haha. We're going over to the Island today & staying at a charming bed & breakfast. Scott surprised me with this last night. I love surprises! The only thing we have planned is going to his parents house for their annual Victoria Day shindig with the family. It is a wonderful time to be had by all. All the family comes by (Scott has 3 sisters & 4 brothers) & we all eat until we're sick. Haha! I usually gain 5-10 lbs every year around this time. They have a giant BBQ pit. It's just delicious. I tried to find my digital camera yesterday. Scott thinks it's up in the attic....How the HELL did it get up there? you may ask......I haven't got an F'in clue!! Talk about pissed off! Told him that we have to find it when we get home. So I'm taking our s-l-o-w camera....You know the one that actually takes FILM! Haha!!

 Well, I better get packing for our awesome vacation. I will be sure to let you know how my vacation went after I get back. Oh, before I forget, Does anyone know how long it takes to upload pictures through dial-up internet. They haven't got highspeed internet in our area yet....Here's hoping it comes soon. We had it at our old place........I miss it terribly. Haha! Hope all my fellow Canadians have an awesome Victoria Day. To my American friends, have an awesome Memorial Day...next weekend.

Hello. My name is Shari Lallant (the first L is silent). I just recently moved into a house with my better half. We have waited over  10 months to move into our new home. It was well worth the wait! It is a beautiful 2 storey, 3 bedroom country home, sitting on 4 acres of land. Our nearest neighbour is a 15 minute walk from our driveway. Our backyard goes right down to our own little beach. Scott & I were so lucky to snatch this place up. Actually, luck had little to do with it. The previous owners are good friends with my parents. They sold it to us at a bargain. We had to do a lot of work to it but it's done now & we have moved in!!

We are just so happy, of course we are still unpacking.....5 weeks later. Haha! Oh well, at least most of it is done. I should try to take some pictures & try to put them up here so that I can show off my home. :) Anyway, I don't want to brag overly much or bore everybody who pops in to say hi. So I will stop blogging for now. I am going to check out some of your blogs & maybe start dinner, as Scott should be home anytime now.
