SNOOTER'S GUIDE TO EVERYTHING AND ANYTHING

Went to work today... I hardly remember it.

Mood: relaxed
Listening to: the terrible new about that darn hurricane.

Visit My Mail Stamp!Today I went to work. I got up and had a headache. Ouch!!! I hate waking up with one. Anyway it is my darn sinuses as usall. Today was pretty much okay.

We just got a new nurse manager. She seems just fine. Time will tell. Our old one is training her and I guess filling her in on all of us. Nothing to weird at work happened. Except, we have to hand out the food trays and feed the people that can not feed themselves. Well, that is all fine and good. We seem to have a different person everyday that puts the food on the trays for our people we take care of. Well, let me tell you this one person has been up there only one other time. The first time was enough for all of the staff. Well, needless to say she was there again today. Lmfao.... How do you serve puree food to a person on a bun. If they need their food pureed that means they can not swallow a bun that has not been thru a blender.

We have these tickets that tell the server what the person is allgeric to,and if they need their liquids thickened or food chopped or pureed. Well, this looney was so bizzare that everyone had to check and check again what she put on the trays we had to hand out.

This took so much time that we all were late getting our jobs done. She dropped dishes that just shattered into a million little slivers, forgot the milk for their trays, did not make enouogh coffee etc... Oh my ever loving god. Then lunch came around and we all just stood there with our mouths open and in total disbelief. She was back.... Omg!!!! What a train wreck. Our poor residents once again got the wrong food , not the way they needed it prepared. What a nightmare. Then to boot I swear she went home and did some crack or something. She was talking to the dishes and dropping things, and she was singing and dancing all the while the staff just looked on in total disbelief again... I sure hope we do not have this one tomorrow. oh yeah, She forgot to put her teeth in too. She was toothless and singing and dancing and making a hell of a mess. The poor housekeeper.

Okay, now in answer to my Question. Why do we cry tears?

WE CRY TEARS BECAUSE THEY CONTAIN CHEMICALS AND HORMONES MADE BY OUR GOOD OLD BODIES.

WHEN WE GET UPSETR, OUR BRAINS AND BODIES OVERREACT AND PRODUCE THESE THINGS.

CRYING HELPS GET RID OF EXTRA CHEMICALS.WE DON'T NEED.

THUS THEY EXIT OUT OF OUR BODIES AS TEARS.WHEN WE CRY IT SOOTHS OUR SADNESS OR DISTRESS BY GETTING RID OF THESE CHEMICALS. THATT'S WHY WE FEEL CALMER AND MORE REFRESTHED AGTER CRYING. THE TEARS GET RID OF THESE HORMONES THAT ARE MADE WHEN WE ARE HAPPY,SAD OR DISTRESS. COOL HUH?

Now for my next trivia question...Why do we have eyebrows? Go ahead take a stab at it...

Well, that's it for today... Thanks for stopping by. come back and sit a spell and read. Leave a comment if you want to. I remain... Snooter

That woman serving the food should be sacked. You need a responsible person for this kinda job...not a clown!!!

Thanks for the Tears Fact... I enjoy reading that and I know now that I will sleep less stupid than when I woke up this morning...lol

    Have a good day!

  6. SNOOTER2 wrote at Sep 1, 2005 at 23:14 o\clock:Mey~ I am glad you understand how important it is to hire someone who knows what they are doing. To have this clown on our floor is just sinful. These people need to eat and drink. Careful care is to be given to their needs. If it was not for the staff on our floor the residents would of gotten the wrong food and drink. I hope your day is a good one. Thanks for stopping by...Snooter

She started a fire in the kitchen on our floor and had everyone running up the stairs to our floor. We are on the 9th floor. All the doors shut automatically and we had to stay in our assigned areas incase we needed to evacutate the residents. Dumb ass is all I have to say. Snooter

Simple I suspose for us - but she went from room to room gathering EVERYONE\'S TEETH - took them ALL to the utility sink and scrubed them clean. Then she forgot who\'s teeth belonged to who. So she went from room to room asking them ALL to try them on - to see if they\'ed fit.
