Pirates of the Caribbean Soundtrack: Pirate Caribbean soundtrack CD

The soundtrack for the first Pirates of the Caribbean movie was infamous for having been whipped up rather hastily. For the sequel, Hans Zimmer takes the reins and comes up with his best effort in ages. Things start off with a nice cello theme for Johnny Depp's character, "Jack Sparrow." After that, it's high gear all the way, beginning with "The Kraken," on which Zimmer unleashes gales of symphonic aggro. Even when he closely follows what Hollywood execs clearly believe are set-in-stone rules for contemporary soundtracks, he throws in interesting wrenches. He does cram in both wailing female vocals and stomping percussion in "Dinner Is Served," but then the track abruptly turns into the kind of demented waltz you usually get from Danny Elfman. As usual with sequels, winks to the first movie pop in and out--the Black Pearl theme reappears in "I've Got My Eye on You" and "Hello Beastie"--but overall this album is more consistent. At least until you get to the final track, that is, a pounding offering by melodic-trance overlord DJ Tiësto. Pirates, wave your arms in the air like you just don't care.

Pirates of the Caribbean 2: The Return of Captain Jack Sparrow

by: geta

Pirates of the Caribbean 2: Dead Man’s Chest or unofficially and more popularly known as the return of Captain Jack Sparrow. Of course this is just a little joke and we all know how many big names were again present in this block buster movie. But Captain Jack Sparrow (Johnny Depp) continues to be the favorite pirate by far.

It was no surprise, to most, that in the first few minutes everyone sees that the marriage between Elizabeth Swan (Keira Knightley) and Will Turner (Orlando Bloom) did not occur…But it gets the movie rolling off to a good start.

Much to the surprise of Pirates of the Caribbean fans, Elizabeth Swan behaves in this movie as spoiled rotten and manipulative woman who uses her sexuality as her weapon.

The return of so many characters from the original movie ‘Pirates of the Caribbean: Curse of the Black Pearl’ have showed up again to define this movie as not only a sequel but as another piece to the on going puzzle.

Pirates of the Caribbean 2: dead man chest

by: geta

Pirates of the Caribbean 2: dead man chest really my favorite movie. Just ask the producers of "The Haunted Mansion": No one goes to see a movie because it's based on an amusement park ride. The chief reason the first "Pirates of the Caribbean" struck gold was because Johnny Depp created an irresistible character: a flamboyant rascal, Capt. Jack Sparrow.

Orlando Bloom and Keira Knightley added a romantic subplot, and director Gore Verbinski stocked the galley with a powderkeg of special effects inPirates of the Caribbean , but it was the Oscar-nominated Depp who steered the ship to the box-office treasure chest.

Because this sequel is now the flagship of the corporate armada, Disney has hedged its bets, fortifying the movie with an extra payload of horror and spectacle.

Running 2 1/2 hours, it ought to sink from the weight of the cargo. But it's buoyed by another high-wire performance from Depp, stoked by imaginative effects and propelled by Verbinski's comedic pacing. With even the lovebirds pulling more of their weight, "Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Man's Chest" is the most rousing Hollywood entertainment in many a year.

On the day of their Caribbean wedding, erstwhile pirates Will and Elizabeth (Bloom and Knightley) are arrested for having helped Jack escape the island in the first movie. Cutler Beckett (Tom Hollander), the villainous toady of the East India Co., offers to drop the charges if Will can retrieve Jack and his magical compass, which points to a fabled treasure. After Will sets sail, Elizabeth follows, disguised as a cabin boy on a merchant ship.

Pirates of the Caribbean - GREAT!!!!!

by: geta

Pirates of the Caribbean

Pirates of the Caribbean is really great!!! Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl one of the best movies of the world! A tale of adventure set during the 17th Century in the Caribbean Sea. For the roguish yet charming Captain Jack Sparrow, the crystalline waters of the Caribbean, like the high seas the world over, present a vast playground where adventure and mystery abound. But Jack's idyllic life capsizes after his nemesis, the wily Captain Barbossa, steals his ship, the Black Pearl, and later attacks the town of Port Royal, kidnapping the Governor's beautiful daughter, Elizabeth Swann. Elizabeth's childhood friend, Will Turner, joins forces with Jack to commandeer the fastest ship in the British fleet, the HMS Interceptor, in a gallant attempt to rescue her and recapture the Black Pearl. The duo and their crew are pursued by Elizabeth's betrothed, the debonair, ambitious Commodore Norrington, aboard the HMS dauntless. Unbeknownst to Will, there is a curse that has doomed Barbossa and his crew to live forever as the undead--when exposed to moonlight, they are exposed to living skeletons. The curse they carry can be broken, only if a once-plundered treasure is restored.
