Poorly written emails

by: PhilW

It is just turned 2.30am and its still too hot!!

I work in a foundry as the night shift manager so why am i surprised its hot?

Why do people send me emails that are so poorly done- people dont address them correctly, dont use capital letters at the start of sentences and just generally piss me off with their poor standard of English. Am I too sensitive on this subject?

Does this annoy anyone else?

When I see typos - I instantly want to fix them. For some odd reason, I can\'t seem to get past the typos. It\'s as if they jump out at me and scream, \'LOOK AT ME!\' Ugh. So frustrating.

No - you\'re not alone in this. It annoys the crap right out of me. =)

Then they don\'t take the \'who it has been sent to\' off and by the time you scroll down, it is pointless!!! I just delete them now and don\'t care if it is from my mom or whoever....

I never thought that on a blog that someone would judge how you type or misspell things. Some people like myself just like to chat with others and read what\'s going on in their lives. Sorry if I don\'t always spell or type the way others do. Not all of us are that judgemental. I for one just love to read others storys. I also don\'t like to read the same thing over and over. Well, have a nice day..:^} toodles p.s. I thought bloging was for fun not a homework assignment... toodles Rainbow....

Im not saying that when people misspell things on their blog that I immediately leave them a comment and say \"ok, learn how to spell this, this and this.\" Im saying that *I*, as a person, am very particular about my grammar and my spelling. I prefer to use correct grammar and I prefer to check my spelling before hitting submit entry. Now - do I mess up? Of course. No one is perfect. I just think that me, being in college, I should pay more attention to my grammar and spelling - especially going into the field Im planning to. There\'s a lot of writing involved and those things that I write will be read in court cases, most of the time.
