Its been a while........................

It has been a long time since I last posted and thought it was a waste of time until someone reminded me that people do actually read what I drone on about!

Since I last wrote I have been to the beautiful Greek Island of Crete for my summer vacation- a trully wonderful time was had by one and all- the only thing that spoilt it was coming back here to the factory!

I am now planning a late break for a week to Portugal, it will break up the monotony of the long haul between summer and Xmas.

My son has now moved to Manchestere with his girl friend and we miss him like I never expected- he was a pain in the ass but I wish he was still about us. He has grown up very quickly in the past few months - from student to hard working career minded health worker.

More tomorrow- bye now.

It\'s a scary thing ... being a professional ... after all these years of schooling! School is all I know! College is going by so fast, though.



    You never really know just how many people read your blog until something happens and you write about it or if you\'re gone for a period of time. I\'ve never been of the Island of Crete. What is it like? What does it look like? Did you stay in a villa of some sorts or what? When I graduate college, I have my choice of where to go for a vacation courtesy of my parents. How amazing is that? Im checking into everything!



    I hope your plans for Portugal follow through! The time between summer and christmas is slow, isn\'t it? However, I just love the fall.



    Well, im going to stop here. If I keep typing its going to be longer than your entry!

    There are some trully breathtaking places there including Agios Nicolaos- a gorgeous port with restaurants that look out over the harbour into the blue sea beyond..



    Portugal is definately on- we have booked a villa in Vilamoura for eight of us- all family. Private pool, bbq, en-suite, satellite tv- I can\'t wait!!!



    In england we dont call it the fall (its autumn) but I know what you mean- its a good time of the year, but my heart yearns for hot summer days, cold beer on the patio and watching Cricket (a typically english sport where you can play for five days and still draw!)
