Make $21,000 Playing 21 Trivia
$21,000 is a lot of money, especially if you can make it while having fun at the same time. Well, here's how to do it.
It seems that there are some people out there who are obsessed with the number 21. They set up a trivia quiz called the 21 Trivia Competition, and it has - of course - 21 questions. All of the questions relate, in one way or another, to the number 21. So if you take the quiz and get all the questions right, they'll put your name into a hat, and then they'll pull one name out of the hat who will be crowned "Number 1 in 21" and win a grand prize of $21,000.
The 21 Trivia Competition is found at http://www.number1in21.com/.
I am not going to tell you any of the trivia questions here. That would spoil the fun. But I will tell you a little bit about the questions in general. They are divided into three categories: easy, medium, and hard. I personally found the categories to be kind of meaningless - after all, a question that's easy for one person might be hard for another. It all depends.
The truth is, I found most of the questions to be difficult at first, but actually they were all very easy. I know that sounds confusing, so let me explain what I mean.
Most of the questions asked for things that I didn't happen to know off the top of my head. That's what I mean by difficult. But they were all easy because there is no time limit on the quiz and you are allowed to "cheat" by looking up the answers. I put "cheat" in quotation marks because it's not really cheating - the rules of the contest say you're allowed to do it.
Let's say, for example, that they asked: "Who was number 21 on the 1969 New York Mets baseball team?" (That's not a real question in the quiz; I'm just making it up as an example.) Well, I don't know, and you probably don't know either. But if you just Google "1969 New York Mets," you will easily find a site with the team roster and uniform numbers, and there you go. (The correct answer, by the way, is Cleon Jones.)
So I would definitely advise anybody who is interested in making some extra money to try the 21 Trivia Competition. It's actually a lot of fun to learn a lot of useless but interesting trivia facts about the number 21, plus you have a chance to make $21,000 doing it. So to all my readers, I say: Give it a try, and good luck! And if a reader of this blog does win the $21,000 prize, please let us know about it. We will all join in your celebration.
