Coffee Shop
I have always dreamt of opening up a coffee shop. Not just an ordinary coffee shop - but this would be something quaint and unique. It would perhaps be out in the country, combined with artworks and pieces of pottery that would also be for sale.
The choice of location of the coffee shop is a very important factor with regards to making money. After all, when starting a business, obviously the aim is for it to be successful and profitable. However enjoyable it may or may not be for the proprietor, if the business does not make money, then it will not take long for it to fold in. I would like to choose a place, for my dream coffee shop, that is fairly quiet but a location that tourists do visit.
This enterprise has been all planned out in my head for years, as a fantasy that will probably never materialise. My coffee shop would offer a variety of different quality coffees and speciality teas. Light snacks such as sandwiches would be on the menu. I would not move in to the area of proper meals, but cakes and scones would be offered. The coffee shop itself would be decorated with paintings and works of art that help to create the special atmosphere for the cafe. This would be a family business and those working on the premises would either be family members or very close friends.
My dream coffee shop enterprise, although all planned is nowhere near implementation. But don't worry, once I get closer to opening - I would let you know!
