Rex, what I figure is wrong when my dog doesn't look at me is that he/she is mad at me! (I have two dogs.) Try taking your dog for a walk, giving him/her a treat, petting him/her, and telling him/her the he/she is a good dog. If all else fails, get down on your knees and grab your dogs face and look him/her in the eye and say "Now see, this is what I want you to do!". Then give him/her a big back scratch and tell him/her that he/she is a good boy/girl. Too many slashes.

That's my advice.

My dog hasdoes not give me eye contact anymore.
I have tried everything to get it back even getting down on all fours putting out my tongue and panting .
