Well hello, hump day again (up until a couple of weeks ago I thought that meant something rude...turns out that's not the case!!), only 2 more work days till the weekend!
Work today was super quiet, I was in the office all by myself from about 1:30pm onwards. Filled in time by reading magazines, the paper and researching accidents at amusement parks. Luckily very few happen here in Australia so I won't need to be freaking out about it when I go to the Gold Coast next year! Have you ever noticed, as you get older you are more aware of things that could go wrong? Instead of going to the local show and thinking "I'm going to go on ALL the rides", you think "Those carnies look dodgy, it only took a couple of hours for them to set this ride up; that safety harness looks dodgy" and so on. When I was younger I never gave it a second thought!!!
Went to the movies tonight and saw "Look Both Ways", it was pretty good, apart from this rude woman & her 2 kids who did not shut up the entire time. Why pay all that money to sit there & have a discussion!??? Can't you stay at home and talk instead of disrupting everyone!!!!! Rude people. I'd have to say that's one of my pet peeves, of course there are others such as; late people, arrogant people, bad drivers, pushy/bitchy people, liars... hmmm, that's all I can think of for now of things that annoy me. What are some things that really P's other people off?
When my friend realised she had forgotten my birthday, I received a big bunch of flowers delivered to work, it was really nice!
Hey, what about this model in Bali? She's changed her story so many times, now she's decided she's Muslim and is completely covered up. I don't know of any Muslim women who normally model swimwear/lingerie, seeing as though their belief is that a woman's body is not something to be flaunted carelessly, and that they should maintain the highest degree of modesty in their dress. I find it very hard to feel sorry for her and the predicament she's put herself in. I feel sorry for her family though.
Anyway, I'm getting increasingly sleepy now, so I'd best head off before I fall asleep on the keyboard....

To answer your question, one thing that really really really pees me off is Jamie Oliver.
The man has an opinion on everything, a speech impediment, he neglects his own family whilst trying to save the world, which, while being very altruistic, isn\'t particularly practical. And most importantly, despite having what looks like a totally hot bod, he is never actually NAKED. He\'s the bloody Naked Chef for crying out loud! Thats false advertising!!
And anyone stupid enough to do / import / export / sell / buy / hold for a mate drugs in Indonesia.
One death sentance and everyone would take things much more seriously.
