A day off.....

I'm glad that school wasn't in session today...the atmosphere is really bugging me, especially in my Reading Non-Fiction class, it's downright depressing....plus we're finishing up reading Tuesdays with Morrie, and it's just sorta ironic that we're doing a book about a dying man, and this whole thing is going on...luckily it's almost over...we just have to watch the movie, I've seen it once before and it's really sad....ugh....just let it be over with quick!!
Tonight is the wake...I'm not going because I didn't really know him that well...actually not at all, he's just been in classes, etc...plus I don't do too well at those things...the last one was for my aunt, and that was extremely hard...I don't like seeing people crying, especially my own family members......she died a few days after Christmas last year...(January 3rd)..I'll never forget, I'll always remember that it was a Monday,we were watching the season premiere of that show, Medium.....it was a little after 10PM, and my grandfather called from the hospital..(my mom actually just got out of there....long story.....something to do with her heart and medication that she was taking....), and the rest of the week was a complete whirl....wake was on Wednesday, and the burial was on Thursday....I think that the family is still in shock, and I know that this holiday season will be awful....I'm not looking foward to it....wow....why am I on this subject??
Anyway....thats what's happening...hopefully next school week won't be as bad...
