Hooray for me...

3 days....I can't believe that its almost here, all of my planning will finally result in something great!!

This better be the best damn vacation ever, because I doubt that we are going to have another "family vacation" for a while...hopefully I will be out oon my own by the time we get enough money together to go on another one...

I'm not saying that I dislike hanging out with my family...its just that I am getting older...and I want to be on my own for once....

I know that its a dangerous world out there....but I need to experience it for my self!!!

I have so much to do...this is a very short entry...

Raining Fireworks!!

Independence Day...the day when nearly every store is having their annual Patriotic sale in the U.S....we do love our traditions here in America!!...Happy

I was never really that taken with the whole July 4th celebration...the parades and picnics are nice and all, but they really don't constitute what really happened 231 years ago...and I've always hated that people are so oblivious to the founding of our country...

They have this idea that we as a collective people suddenly decided to rebel against the "Mother Country"...in fact, a lot of the regular people (regular joe schmoe....the commoner....) were totally fine with the idea of having Great Britian decide what should be happening with this country....in the beginning, at least, it was the aristocratic elite of this country that saw the creation of a new nation possible...the founding fathers (Washington, Adams, Jefferson..etc) were not average citizens..they were wealthy land-owners....the elite

The fact is....we would like to think that the U.S. was founded by the people...for the people...but, it didn't exactly start that way....the wealthy will always rule this country, unfortunately....it seems to be another tradition here in America that we can't get rid of....and I've always hated traditions....

Though I do love watching the fireworks!!! Happy
