Just Lil' Ole Boring Me

Mood: tired and wet...

Wow...miss a little, miss a lot, right? I like the new design of blogigo....very cool...

:::Yawn::: I am tired...been going to college for two whole days now and having to walk across campus several times a day is wearing me out!!!

Yup....I am in college right now, and I would have to say that I am liking it much better than high school...I feel so much more freedom....true, I still really haven't made any new friends, but hopefully that will change....and if it doesn't, then....fuck it....

Its been raining for the last four days, and today was the worst...pouring rain all day.....my clothes were soaked, as well as my books and supplies....and I was one of the smart people who had an umbrella with them!!! I couldn't believe the number of people who just ruined their 400 dollars worth of books by walking unprotected in the rain.....(thats how much all of my books cost at least....and I was certainly not going to have them get all wet and be totally useless....)luckily only a little water got on mine, so they are still in good shape....if I can find them for cheaper I plan on returning them to the school store for a refund.....

I am glad that a few people from high school are going to the same school as me....its just nice knowing that may see a friendly face from time to time...unfortunately, they're not really in any of my classes...and the ones that are I'm not really "friends" with....though we still wave....

Anyway.....I think that I'll be writing here more often that I have for the last couple of months...I seems to have a little more time to do so....which is nice....

Ok...I've broken down and decided to start writing in this again, maybe it'll help me collect my thoughts....

Well...a lot has happened since my last entry, I'll put them in list form...

1. graduated from high school

2. got a job

3. got my schedule for college

4....ok, that's pretty much it, but it's still a big deal...

I guess I'll start at graduation...we ended up having it indoors and not at the stadium as was planned, it was still nice though... even when it rained and we had to stand outside for 30 minutes until they let us in, I still had a good time...my graduation party was fun too, and I got lots of money to help me out during the school year...

I got a job at the local pharmacy...I mostly sell lotto tickets and work the register...it kind of sucks that I can sell the tickets but I'm not old enough to legally buy them yet (only 3 more months) I find that getting a paycheck at the end of the week makes up for the idiots I have to deal with at lotto...I prefer to work in the gift shop that we have...wrapping presents is a lot more relaxing...

my schedule came in a few days ago...I cannot believe that I'm paying all of this money to take 2-3 classes a day...they're only an hour or so each...its ridiculous....I'm commuting to the campus so I don't even have a dorm to flee to after I'm done (maybe I'll crash at one of my friend's, I'm lucky to have a few people I know going to the same school....)at least the days won't be too long for me and I'll still be able to work part-time to make some extra money for supplies and gas for my car...

I guess everthings all caught up...I'll write some more updates about my college experience, it can't be that bad.....can it??
