Well...yesterday started off ok...until I had a huge blow-out with my parents over my college applications.....here I have spent over a month writing my admissions essays...typing them all up, getting recomendations from my teachers, etc..when all of a sudden I'm told that I'm pretty much going to crappy community college....
Its not that I have anything against the college itself...it's just that....well, they pretty much let anybody in....and I worked my ass off so that I could go to a good college....well, they got all bent out of shape over the application fee...it was forty dollars per application, and I have three that I want to send in....all of them are good, local colleges....and now I'm probably going to miss the deadline for when they're supposed to be in by because I don't have the money for them to accept the application....
I have enough for two...but that still isn't helping too much....hopefully everything will work out....
There's a small chance that there will be a snow day tomorrow, an ugly mix of snow and ice is expected...I would prefer a two-hour delay so that all of the snow days aren't used up....we only have four left after last week's cancellation!!
