Just Lil' Ole Boring Me

Mood: tired.....

Well.....I've started my AP assignment, got through about 3 of the 8 summaries, and I've still got to write an essay, but I think that I'll make it....

I've decided that my school really is way too crowded ( not a big suprise), because it took me forever just to get out of the lunchroom and down the first hallway, which made me late to Math....I mean, it wasn't that much, only a few seconds....but still!!! I've never been held up like that before, and I believe that every incoming class is about 100 more than the year before....I've witnessed it for 4 years (well, 3 since I was the incoming class as a freshman) Our school already is filled to capacity or more.....I think that it can hold 3500 people (including teachers etc....) and I think that just the students alone add up to that amount...or maybe a little bit less.....

I actually sort of wish that I was put in a smaller district...or at least a school with less people.....I believe that my school district is one of the largest in the state of New York, and its just ridiculous the amount of time it can take just to walk down the hall! I usually try to avoid these spots, but sometimes it's just impossible to do so....especially in the older sections where the halls/ stairways are narrower and there aren't a lot of other options to take....Oh well....I only have to get through this year, and I'll never have to see the congestion again!!!.....until I get to college (though I don't think that it will be as bad....campuses are bigger....right?)

I am extremely pissed off!!!!!

Today was the first day of school, and everthing was going fine.....until I got to my AP Gov't class (last class of the day, mind you...) and found out that the Guidance Dept screwed up and never sent me the summer writing assignment!!!!!!!!

So now, I only have 2 weeks (everyone else got a whole month) to read a bunch of articles, write a summary for each one, and write an essay relating them to each other.......I feel worn out already......kill me now.....

Anyway.....the good thing is that I have some study halls during the day, and I get home a little earlier, so I shouldn't have any problem finishing it....it's just a huge inconvenience!!!!!!

The whole day wasn't as bad as this though......I see a few friends between classes (unfortunately, none are actually in my class), and the teachers aren't too bad......I just have to get through the next 2 weeks....

that makes me so very mad.....

I just finshed writing a pretty long entry and when I hit 'publish', the page went blank and I lost it!!!! so, now I'll be writing the shorter version.......ready?.....

school starts tomorrow--> will be a senior--->only have 4 classes---->yay!!!---->write more tomorrow....

THAT WAS THE BEST FUCKING  CONCERT EVER!!!!!!!!!

 

It was better then I could even imagine it!!!!! The music, the people, everything was perfect!!!! It turned out that although our seats were really high up from the stage, we still had a direct view, and it was great!!! This is what happened.......

 

We (my cousin, Jen, and I) arrived at Giants stadium about 15 minutes early (started at 7 pm). We got caught with our cameras, so they directed us to a different gate to check them in....instead we wrapped them in shirts we bought, and stuck them in Jen huge bag she was carrying (at the next gate, they didn't even check....so I got a lot of pictures!!!!) We were kind of surprised because there were very few people there, but that would soon change.....

 We got some food and something to drink and went to our seats (the prices for food/drinks was ridiculous, 4.25 for a pepsi!!!!) At 7:00, a band started to perform, but no one had any idea who they were....and they sounded terrible!!!! But, they just kept playing..............and playing........and playing, for about 30 minutes (that wasn't too fun....) I couldn't wait for Jimmy Eat World to come on....but they didn't until about 8:00 and they only played for about 30 minutes as well!!! I wished they stayed on just a little bit longer.....but I'm not complaining!!!!!

 

Next.....the drunk bunny appeared, we really couldn't see too much of what he was doing, but it was funny anyway......and finally at about 9ish, Green Day came on!!!!!! I think I went a little bit crazy last night....I was screaming, shouting, clapping, and singing (yes...I sang outloud to almost every song). What can I say...it was my first "real" concert,(bands that other people have actually heard of...), and my favorite band(s) were playing!!!!! Also, during the concert, while jumping up during one of the songs, I smashed the back of my knee on the seat, it really hurts, and I now have a huge bruise there.....
