I am interested to know more about the cheapness of the state of Texas that Masha mentioned. So far the only thing that I could say that Texas is better then Washington area is the sentence that Masha said, I think Texas is a cheap state. When we are talking about cheapness of area we are talking about the rent, cost of houses, the food and cloths. Also I would like to know the average wages of the people in Texas. Are there a lot of jobs? So people are earning allot of money. In what way is Texas cheaper then Washington? In our area everything is expensive, the rent, the cost of houses is increasing every year and food is skyrocketing. For example a gallon of mile is $3, a loaf of bread is $3, a pound of tomato is $2.85, and one bedroom apartment is $1,200 per month. Tell me what is cheap in Texas.

Hello, everyone. My name is Sahra. I am a student in Northern Virginia Community College. This is my second semester in NVCC and I am really enjoying being in ESL 12, because I am having fun with my classmates and students from Dallas. I am from horn of Africa, Somalia, which is a beautiful land and one of the most chaotic countries in the world today. I have been in Washington DC area for about six years and I think it is one of the most beautiful places in the U.S, specially in the spring time when the cherry blossoms plums up it's roses. Not only that but there are many beautiful things in DC, including the Washington monument, the white House, the historical museums and the national Zoo. I have visited these places several times and still want to go again.
