Sabrina recently displayed a staggering level of Thai culture intuition when, meeting a male masseusse with a recently shaved head, she makes a buzzing noise and mimics sliding a shaver over her head. "Getting hot now huh?", she adds enthusiastically. "Buddha", was the stony-faced response. (Novice monks are required to shave their heads).
In other news, a Sports Day on the beach was held in which many nations got to sample the various activities English school children get to face once a year. After much cheating, grappling, failed wheelbarrow race combos and some rope burns from a tug-of-war, a quick cup presentation was held and much drinking commenced. Still, having a glistening ocean to run into when the sun got a bit much compensated nicely for the unneccessary energy expenditure.
Jamie has been moved up to 'No.2' on site, meaning he now has the option to join in the real work or fake an errand and seak refuge in an air-conditioned truck. As it happens, right now the project manager is off diving and Jamie is temporarily in charge. This is probably not a good idea considering the vacuum that resides between his ears. Time will tell.
Sabrina got to meet a manic Thai gran whilst on a beach clean up who was able to lift 30 kilo sacks of rubble and transport them on her back. The offer of some Thai whiskey from her may be a clue to the extraordinay strength on offer. Sabrina insists she turned it down.
well well well, you do seem to be having a whale of a time out there, despite some of the horrible things you have seen and had to put up with, not least by being shown up by a little thai granny in the THIA STRONGEST WOMAN competition.
we have been keeping an eye on your progress or otherwise via this weblog, it is very good and very funny at times but also very sad at times, but that mirrors the life you are experiencing at the moment very accuratelly.
we hope you are both well at this moment, although we somehow doubt it with jamie with his record of accidents,
aunty thelm says you really must try harder and look after yourselves, as the medical supplies are not meant for your exclusive use.

thanks for my birthday wishes, and i wait in anticipation for my pressie. whilst on the subject of bithdays we would like to wish jamie a very happy and accident free birhtday for the 18th feb, do get drunk, eat loads, be sick, and then promise yourself never to do it again, just as you would if you were at home. finally a quick update on the home front, thelma is well, and trying very hard not to catch my very serious cold [its a man thing]. lee has a new job selling office stationry and stuff, anna is getting very fat, not long to go now, beginning of may. harry potter and ron weasley alias ethan and oscar are growing up too fast and are well, had andy down overnight the other night telling us about his skydiving exploits[ nutter] toni and rhiannon are well too. well must get to bed now as it has taken ages to write this lot, as typing and me are relative strangers.

i see jamie is showboating his football skills to kids, it must of been a large dissapoint not getting ur name on the scoresheet, and having a headline in the local paper, but judging by the photo it looks like they have won the world cup a bit to early!! if you find any decent young hot prospects then call Mr Wenger at Arsenal he could do with a few.

Everything is going well at uni, drinking lots, jst like you told me to do! a great role model for the younger generation and be sure that i will pass it down 2. Playing football here now aswell, but its sunday league, not ideal after a saturday night out with 8 pints of snakebite on board and having to get up at 8.00 to play football, it doesnt seem right.
I am enjoying being an uncle, elsie is slowly but surely growing up, starting to smile at almost anything, and making a gargaling noise, but i cant quite understand what she needs, more than likely her feed. I will send you an email guys from hotmail of elsie
Glad your aving a wicked time, wish i was there the weather down in pompey is rubbish, may be not 2 sure about that snake tho, a bit off putting, maybe not a good idea to get a kitten because i dont think that those snakes would say no to meal like that, but from what i have heard from WILLIAMHILL.COM earlier today the odds are EVENS for Sabrina to win and accuire a little furry object, being a student, having a interest free loan, and always up for a gamble I have decided to put on 200 smackeroonies on jay. He currently priced at 40-1.
Mum and dad are well, and send their love, and so do nan and grandad, grandad is still as funny as ever, and nan is well nan!! (lovely!) but we had a bet on the Liverpool VS Arsenal game, and to no suprise arsenal lost, so i am trying to stay away from grandad for a while.
We have elsie\'s christening on the 30th April, shame you wont be their, but i will send a photocopy of my speech that i am working hard on!! HA.
AND HAPPY BIRTHDAY TO JAMIE FOR THE 18TH, no doubt that you will get stuck into a few pints and wash it down with some local sprits, AL VINO WILL FLOW as David Brent once said. You both deserve it, ur doing a cracking job out their, fair play to the both of you, i almost envy you.
