IMSMA V3 SP1
In November of 2004 the IMSMA team completed work on a package of new updates to IMSMA V3. The IMSMA SP1 package contains a number of updates to the system and corrects as many of the known system problems as are possible in a single patch. The SP1 update has already been installed in a number of programmes and will be made available to all of the current IMSMA sites over the next few months through the regional support coordinators. Contact your regional coordinator if you have any questions about the update project.
Once the SP1 update project has been completed we do not plan to make any additional changes to V3. Instead we will be concentrating our efforts on completing the IMSMA Re-Engineering Project. The GICHD will continue to support V3 in the field until all sites have been given the opportunity to update to the new release.
