Next Generation Consoles
To get a start to this web log i will start off by discussing the next generation of consoles that are comming out (the Xbox360, the Playstation 3 and the Nintendo Revolution).
The Xbox 360 is set to come out first in November 2005. The Xbox 360 is made by Microsoft and is focusing its attention towards becoming the center piece of media equipment that everyone will need.
To do this Microsoft has designed the Xbox not only to play games, but to play DVDs, music and other forms of multimedia. Microsoft has also designed the xbox 360 to connect to your computer (wireless or LAN) so that you can transfer your "legal" music over to the Xbox 360.
The number of release titles for the xbox 360 are a lot bigger and there are more titles to choose from because when the xbox was released it didnt have too many launch titles and lost Microsoft a lot of money and supporters.
Will releasing the Xbox 360 earlier than the Playstaion 3 pay off for Microsoft and recover the lost supporters and money that the xbox suffered from? time will tell.
