I was planning on going to Bethel. I normally give my friend Ann rides to and from church on Sundays and Wednesdays. But I couldn't get ahold of her on Saturday evening to tell her that I couldn't pick her up. So I figured that I would just go to Alliance church in the morning. I got up at 7am to get ready, Ann finally called me back at 8:25am, five minutes before I would have left to pick her up. She informed me that she had spent the previous night at a friends and didn't need a ride. By then I was all ready to go and I decided that I would just go to morning worship at Alliance because I figured that Ann would still need a ride home. So I sat through the whole service at Alliance, not paying attention to the pastor but passing notes and talking instead, only to find out that Ann was going to her brother's place to help him with some yardwork after church.
