Twitter Game

The long-standing popularity of "word of the day" web sites and emails has been merged with Twitter to create Artwiculate, a Twitter-based word game that might passively expand your vocabulary while you're taking part in social interruptions.

To play you simply use the word of the day in a tweet. You don't need to use a hash tag or anything special to acknowledge its use. If the word of the day appears in a message on the Twitter network, Artwiculate will pick it up and throw it onto the front page of the site for other Artwiculate users to vote on. At the end of the day, the top 50 uses of the word are shown on the Artwiculate main page.

You can follow @artwiculate and receive the new word every day without playing along.

Wordpress post_class function use

No doubt you can be more successful in your business sending needed mailings using free Email Marketing Software. It seams that very soon you can get the chance to improve your business using open source and free softwares like WordPress and SendBlaster Bulk Emailer Free edition to build an email marketing website ready for a free email marketing software.

Besides that dont you know that if you use WordPress 2.7 it cames with the post_class function which gives you a set of CSS classes to a post, depending on what’s in the post (e.g. based on what category it is in).

The code that you use in your template to use this is simply like this: 1
This is a great function for changing a post’s display, the classes that it outputs are actually quite limited. Luckily, we can add our own, and we can also add our own dynamic classes. Basically it means that using some extra lines of PHP, you can add own classes into the post_class function depending on some other post information. The default...

Do you work for a client creating websites and using search engine optimisation? Your clients are probably wondering how well your techniques are working. They may even want to know if the pay per click ad is working the way it should. Luckily for you, sites like Google AdWords make it easy for you to prove if SEO and PPC ads are working.

In the past you may have had to cut and paste the research you were doing into customised templates in order to show how well the ad was working. However, Google has since increased the use of their programme. You can now log into MCC Google Account, which is the My Client Centre. In this area it is possible to show how the SEO tactics are working. There are several reports that can be examined. The downside is that it is not as widely available as it once was. You have to be a Google Advertising Professional in order to get access right now.

So where does that leave individuals who are not with GAP? Well luckily there is a downloadable option from...

Add mp3 Music Into Your Blog

Someone dont like when coming on some site there is music sounding there they are to listen, but if however you want to add your favorite music to your blog you can give people option to choose - to listen it or not to for their choice. Then. if you have your own music file whic is hosting on a site that allows for hot-linking
music files, you can use the following coding, which works for mp3, wav and midi files: <embed src="full url of
your music file here" hidden="false" autostart="false">

Just in case the above appears like a link, here is the coding in a
more legible form, hopefully it won't read as & and # : &#60;embed src="full url of your music file" hidden="false"
autostart="false">

You haven't right to use the url of music files from other people's sites without
their written permission, as that constitutes bandwidth theft and
costs them money and could possibly lead to...

New Google Chrome OS 2010

Zaiff Urgulbunger reports that "after years of speculation, Google has announced Google Chrome OS, which should be available mid-2010. Initially targeting netbooks, its main selling points are speed, simplicity and security — which kind of implies that the current No.1 OS doesn't deliver in these areas! The Chrome OS will run on both x86 and ARM architectures, uses a Linux kernel with a new windowing system. According to Google, 'For application developers, the web is the platform. All web-based applications will automatically work and new applications can be written using your favorite web technologies. And of course, these apps will run not only on Google Chrome OS, but on any standards-based browser on Windows, Mac and Linux thereby giving developers the largest user base of any platform.' Google says that this new OS is separate from Android, as the latter was designed for mobile phones and set-top boxes, whereas Chrome OS is designed 'for people who spend most of their time on...

Schneier's first attempt to sell the used Sony Vaio TZ-series on eBay appeared to be successful within hours of its listing, but eBay cancelled the sale saying the winning bid came from a hacked account, he wrote in a blog post on Friday. A second attempt to sell the laptop also appeared to be successful within hours of being listed on eBay.

The buyer paid for the laptop using PayPal and requested that Schneier send it to her using FedEx. She then canceled the payment by disputing it with PayPal, apparently hoping that the laptop would be shipped before Schneier found out....

Twitter and Others

Well known actor, comedian, author and television presenter Stephen Fry's feed on the social networking site Twitter is one of the most popular in the world, BBC reports. He shared with his thoughts why he believes the web is such a wondrous thing on.

At the time of going to press I've got 103,000 Twitter followers, which means I'm getting new "Tweets" all the time. And some of them are very amusing and some of them are rather silly but most of them are entirely charming, he said.

If people want to announce their new this or their new that, they're going "I'm not going to do an interview, I'm not going to sit in the Dorchester for seven days having one interviewer after another come to me, I'm just going to Tweet it, and point them to my website and forget the press". No doubt opening my mail box I should realize that not everyone on the internet is my friend and getting mail "this is the file you asked for" from someone unknown I should not open it but…. My computer got idiotic virus named Trojan mIRC then 5 days long I tried to get it out.

My antivirus program AVG detected a Trojan but could not manage with it. Now I’ve changed my anti-virus program for Spyware Doctor that is not only perfect protection to secure PC against privacy and tracking threats including trojans, keyloggers, spybots and tracking threats but easy to use anti spam filter which is protecting your Inbox against unsolicited junk email.
