Website Developers Showing Progress with SEO

by: Etta   Keywords: seo

Do you work for a client creating websites and using search engine optimisation? Your clients are probably wondering how well your techniques are working. They may even want to know if the pay per click ad is working the way it should. Luckily for you, sites like Google AdWords make it easy for you to prove if SEO and PPC ads are working.

In the past you may have had to cut and paste the research you were doing into customised templates in order to show how well the ad was working. However, Google has since increased the use of their programme. You can now log into MCC Google Account, which is the My Client Centre. In this area it is possible to show how the SEO tactics are working. There are several reports that can be examined. The downside is that it is not as widely available as it once was. You have to be a Google Advertising Professional in order to get access right now.

So where does that leave individuals who are not with GAP? Well luckily there is a downloadable option from Google called the AdWords Editor. This programme helps you manage your campaign offline to show your clients the results of your hard work. The programme is free to use. You just download, select what you want to do, and you can make changes while you are not online. In fact you can navigate through the account, show proposed changes, and get feedback.

With the editor you are able to show your clients what you propose to do without launching the actual ad. You can even export all the AdWords data into a CSV spreadsheet. For those who have not used the programme yet, you will definitely want to start. It is something that can help you in your business. Being that it is free, there really is no reason not to take advantage of the programme.

Since the editor allows you to have multiple campaigns in the programme you can go back to edit anything any time you want. You just select which campaign you want to work on at the moment. You get to look at recent changes, check on the changes, post changes, and even choose Stat intervals. Whether your client stops by or you email them the proposed information they will be able to check on your progress.
