One night as she was about to drift off to sleep, a 6-year-old girl told her dad that she was able to see her angels. ‘They let me know I’m loved’ she said. Although startled, her father didn’t make much of it until he became aware that the angels made regular visits. Through conversation, he discovered that his daughter was able to shift her awareness to become sensitive to her angels. He also noticed the state of peace and insight which resulted in her at these times as evidence of the reality of
these visits.
This experience with his own daughter led Tobin Hart into a pattern of researchwhich eventually involved hundreds of families, exploring the spiritual life of children.

Hi

The other day I found this website with free down to some of the artile of from the  International Journal of Children's Spirituality.
You have to sign up but there you can get free  download of one of each of the Journal they  pub. I am only made use this one so far. looks a every  good resourse.


My reaseach is come to an  end, I have to send if off to prof-reader on the 19thmay. i have will add some more results and reflects of what I have found out on this jounery to understand how to nuture children.

I hope your had a good Easter, I have enjoy a day being with family and a weekend of meeting friends.

A fer quotes of my fav. to defining nuture :

The Church lives not only because adult passes on experiences to child, but because both adult and child share new experiences,which are interpreted in the light of the tradition. The tradition itself is renewed in the process. ( From The child in the church  report P25 )
        
                   I  think that just is great of defining nuture because I think that Nurture is not just about Adult teaching/ passing on the faith to the children but both children and Adults meeting at a =  point and experiencing christ together .


Christian nurture helps us to take baptism seriously,as drawing us into the loving will of the Triune God for all people ( Child in the church P25)

       This quote made me think again that  word which are said a baptism, and all the issues around baptisming children.
