Went to the Christmas party~
Well we ran all day again and almost finished our gifts for everyone. The stores were jam-packed today. I also got my nail done using 'Red Dazzle' color to add some Christmas Cheer. I went to a lot of trouble to look good for hubby at the party, but I still think most people find it hard to know what to say to me because of our age difference. The host and hostess were quite nice and also friendly, but very busy too. One couple there took some time just to chat with me. Maybe someday the stigma will end, who knows. It is perfectly alright for older men to be married to younger woman, but unless you are a movie star, and I'm NOT, then it is not so ok.
Well it is more than ok in our book, smile. I love him madly, big grin here, so I will endure some awkward moments once or twice a year for him.
Hope everyone had a good day. Our house looks like a cyclone hit it so I guess it means back to my house-wifey duties starting tomorrow!
Peace to your Hearts,
Aly

The term "Old Soul" is just a soul that has visited the earth more times than the average, and seem more wise than the rest - well they're more experienced, and usually quite compassionate.
Just remember, when people cast you those awkward looks - they're really just telling on themselves that they are judgemental and not open-hearted. It has absolutely NO bearing on you and your hubby whatsoever. You and your hubby are just a mirror reflecting those who judge you, as who they really are.
And you're right - there's no stigma the other way around. Hubby and I are ten years apart. He's 45 I'm 35 - no problem - whatsoever. It's just plain silly how people are treating you, Aly. I'm sorry for your discomfort - just feel honored for the role of the mirror you took up with your love for your hubby! You are a beautiful person, Aly!!

You are indeed very blessed with your hubby. It's wonderful the love you share. That's what marriage should be all about!
A BIG HUG right back at you!
