The battle to save our schools
"No Child Left Behind" is the Bush administration's daring attempt to
improve the worst U.S. schools. But many parents, educators, and
students are finding that program's use of testing is having unforeseen
consequences for children, especially minority children.

There have been allegations of cheating, dropouts and more ramifications from this program.
Not only our are kids education at stake here, but the moral fiber of our kids is being eroded as the parents are taking the brunt of 'keeping up with the Jones's' and keeping up with our rotten economic times. Our kids are left alone far too much, left without supervision and unfortunately, ending up in gangs, drugs, sex without protection, no thought of the AIDS problem, thinking that won't happen to me. Our children seem to be coming in second in importance in the scheme of things in life. That needs to end.
