Well it seems all of this waiting and all the pain has reduced me to a blubbering baby today and I can't seem to stop it. I hate when this happens. There is so much that needs to be done and I just freakin can't do any of it.
After watching the show, Heroes, and hearing so much about one's Destiny, it has left me thinking about this topic more. Do you believe your destiny is all planned out long before you are born? Can you change your destiny? Do you believe in coincidence? Our life journey is often a difficult one and some things that may have happened to us not always pleasant experiences. Some people believe we choose our parents and families for a reason. Looking back over my childhood I can't imagine why I would have made this choice as my childhood was so traumatic and life changing for me. I survived it, but the ghosts of my past still haunt me.

Hope everyone is doing well. My days are spent mostly in bed and I don't have access to my desktop pc so I can't upload any pictures to my other accounts. Much of my energy is drained from the knee injury so I am often tired. I'll be so glad when my knee is fixed and I can feel like 'me' again.

Well I am struggling with the pain and depression associated with my knee pain. Since I really can't 'pamper' my knee at times the pain is almost unbearable. Lying in bed 75% of the day is not helping my depression over the pain and the lonliness and depression.
I seem to be at a loss for words. I'm sorry.

Well with our little refund from the IRS we are splurging and buying a new and comfortable Love Seat for our living room. Hubby rearranged the living room last night and a friend of ours is going to pick it up for us and deliver it to us as a favor :).
A little something to make it possible for me to sit out there with him and be comfortable otherwise he is often out there while I am alone in the bedroom :(. Sometimes we are both in here on our computers at the same time playing games or surfing :).

Well we have gotten very behind on keeping up with the movies that have come out this year so we are now working on catching up. Tonight our bill of fare will be "Little Miss Sunshine."
We are hoping it is as good as the Departed was last night! Hubby has a full day of conference calls so that makes it a longggggggggg day for me with only one or two phone calls all day.
Off this computer to read my bood for a little while.

Well hubby and I finally rented the movie "Departed' to watch tonight. I must say while the violence and colorful language were all throughout this movie, the acting by all these actors was outstanding. To have all of these actors together in one movie packed a powerful punch through the screen. Martin Scorcese did one helluva job putting this movie together.
I have never been one to go out of my way to watch violent movies but with this cast of characters and all the press about how good it was took my interest to be sure. If you want to be entertained and get your money's worth from acting then this is a movie to watch. I got tired just watching it, lol.

Well I have finally made the decision to create a new blog elsewhere and I will be working on that over the next few weeks before my surgery as my energy level permits. I will not totally abandon this site but I will put more energy into a blog that allows me more features to use and is more reliable and that will respond to my pleas for help when I am having trouble.
I really have dragged my feet on this decision, but now I guess I am ready to make the transition. I hope you will all come by to visit me once I move. Again, I won't totally abandon this one, but more of my work will be put into the new blog.

Well it is clear hubby can't keep up with everything in the house and take care of me, and devote the bulk of his energies to working to support us so I guess for a short time we are going to have to hire someone to clean every two weeks until I can do it myself again.
We will be looking through an agency and also smaller home business kind of maid service to help us get through this period. I tried to do a few things today now my knee is just buckling so back to bed I go 
. I hate not being able to do the simplest of chores and I never thought there would be a day when I would long to do my housework, but I was wrong.
Trying to read more also. I am in the middle of reading Mitch Albom's book, "One More Day" which is a very good read. I loved and cried through his book, "Tuesdays with Morrie." Hubby started reading Mother God to me one afternoon but it was on one of my more painful days and I was in and out of sleep while he was reading so I will have to start over again.

Well it seems like some of my energy has been sapped due to this knee injury and I just haven't been feeling like posting as much. It doesn't mean I don't think about it, I just don't seem to have as much energy to put into it. I sure hope this feeling doesn't last as I miss caring for my little blog.
Today is my first day alone as hubby has been home with me for several days caring for me and sharing my days. He has a team meeting to attend today and is expected to be there. They were going to have it last week but cancelled it because he couldn't attend it then. I hope he enjoys it even though I shall miss him terribly.
I have no idea how much trouble I can get into trying to manage the crutches and carrying anything. I guess a fanny pack will be purchased so I can carry things.. much like a Kangaroo I guess, lol.
I long for days of better health!

Well hubby and I managed to get out to the Improv this afternoon for a 3 pm show they added forr Jeff Dunham as his other shows sold out. I'm glad I rested those 2 days so I could get there today. I wasn't in any significant pain until about 20 minutes before the show ended, but I managed to last to get a few more laffs. Fortunately they have an elevator up to the 2nd story where the Improv is located. The place was packed and a nice afternoon was had by all those who attended. I even had 2 brandy alexanders! They were so weak they didn't even bother me which is unusual.
Hubby and I split the Improv Nachos and just tried to forget for awhile all that has been happening. Before we went, hubby helped me as my hair color hadn't been touched up in 2 months so I looked respectable, lol.
Now home to rest awhile and just chill out with my ice bag, oh boy!

Well since hubby and I didn't get to go out for diiner on Valentine's day, we went yesterday to Casey Moore's, and it was excellent food and service! Delicious clam chowder soup and seared salmon with asparagus tips in a light hollandaise sauce. Hubby had an excellent italian dish loaded with seasonal fish and with a zesty sauce and garlic bread, We were too full for dessert. Then we made the mistake of going to Fry's Electronics and that wore me out completely. Today I am bed-ridden due to my knee being in so much pain from too much walking :(
We have tickets to go to the Improv tomorrow afternoon if I can get there. No cancellations allowed so I will do my best to get there so I am staying off my feet all day today. Hubby just fixed us a great brunch and is now relaxing and playing one of his video games :0

Well while hubby was on one of his errands yesterday he managed to come home with lovely roses, an ever so romantic card, and a very good tasting heart shaped cake to celebrate Valentine's Day. When I am able I will have to surprise him one day with things as thoughtful and loving as he has given to me. Of course our cat Jordan has already tried to start eating the roses! I don't know what possesses this cat to try and eat flowers. Hubby hasn't been buying me any lately just because we usually end up hiding them and what good is that? I caught him in the act last night and raised my voice to him and so far he has left them alone. I am sure we will have to shut them in a closet somewhere when we leave the house, lol.
Do any other of you cat owners have this same problem????
We have so many of these bed and hotel blogs here it is getting to be annoying. Is it only annoying to me? Perhaps so. I haven't been 'me' since these shots.
Well they called back from my surgeon's office this afternoon to say they have rescheduled me for surgery on March 13 at 7:30 am which is so much better for me given my other anxiety issues. Now I just have to hope the cortisone shot helps my knee for one month.
The shot continues to leave me with odd effects 
. Tonight I started with a really bad headache and of course I also got a yeast infection from this also. I would not recommend having to have 2 of these shots so close together if one can help it.
Hubby brought home a dozen roses tonight with a heart shaped cake and some ice cream. He also bought me the most romantic card a woman could hope for. I have a lot of making up to do once I can get out and about :).

Well after hearing all the news about my bloodwork yesterday by the afternoon I was sicker then a dog. I suppose the added stress was more then I and my fibro could bear to deal with so I was sick until late in the night and I am still feeling very 'green' this morning. I continue to go back and forth between hot and cold, headaches, and my stomach is a mess. I couldn't eat last night and just tried some cereal this morning but it all tastes 'sour.'
I remember hubby reading to me in between bouts of not feeling well and drifting off to sleep and then waking up sick and getting to the restroom. What a night to have before a scheduled surgery. We did set the clock in case I woke up feeling well this morning but no such luck. The surgeon's office is calling us back this afternoon to reschedule the surgery.
Hoping I improve as the day goes on.. it is Valentine's Day and he is definitely my hearts' delight.
