Today we learn that Bush CAN be wrong.

George W. Bush is a man. Not God. Not even close. He makes mistakes, lets face it, most of the time politicians spend their time saying nothing and people will blindly follow them no matter what. But many people that I know believe that he can do no wrong. I must disagree. Though Bush seems to be a godly man I cannot judge him, I dont know him personally, but we must remember that any person that recites scripture is not automatically a christian, even though he shows the signs we cant start calling him a great christian man without studying the rest of his life. I myself would have to say that he is a Christian but I have done my homework on the subject. There are very many things that Bush has done that I believe were very wrong but he has also done a few things that should be applauded. I think that we should have waited for more evidence that Saddam was going to blow us sky high before we went to Iraq, the evidence that we did have was shady at best and the Bush family vendetta against the man may have played a part in the descision to go to war, as of yet we have not found any evidence of WMDs. We mostly say we entered Iraq because of the tourture of his own people, and I must play devil's advocate here, this was not our territory and our own Vice-President seems to not care if WE tourture Saddam's people! Saddam was a evil man but we did NOT need to engage in another Vietnam, Who knows when we will be able to leave! Also, Even though many will tell you that the fault of the shoddy help of New Orleans was the governers, and yes he should shoulder some of the blame, George Bush is our president and his main job is to PROTECT our citizens. He should not expect that someone else is going to help; he should send help right away, I dont care if we do have a war in Iraq, THESE ARE OUR PEOPLE and we should protect them before we go on a wild goose chase for Osama and friends. Even if we had had enough people down there the extra people would have helped but, truth is someone down there screwed up and we didnt. So maybe the Governer was in the wrong, but so was Bush. I think that there is much room for improvement for this president and I encourage all Christians to first look at how the man will run this country before we look at his Religon.

Why I HATE taking Spanish.

Today I was sitting in my Spanish class when suddenly the thought occoured to me. Why does the American Government cater to the spanish speaking people who come over? If they want to enjoy American freedoms they should have to learn the accepted American language, English. Part of the screening test for citizenship should be ability to speak English well. We should not have to learn THEIR language, WE aren't coming over to THEIR country, they are coming to OURS! I mean, if I were to move to Germany, I would be expected to learn German so that I would be able to be a productive member of society, right? Well the standard should be the same in America. If you can't speak English you should be refused membership, and as for illegal immigrants, they should be forced out of the country because, as their title suggests, they are ILLEGALLY here! Now, I am in no way against immigration into our country, but I don't want America to have to change its name to Little Mexico anytime soon. "Latinos" and other immigrants should show common courtesy if they wish to immigrate and learn English so that citizens of this county can go on with thier lives without having to learn a language many either can not or do not want to learn. I, myself, have taken one year of French, which I loved, and two years of Spainish, which I have loathed. Languages are not for everyone and should not be forced on citizens by the government and the school systems, but if one desires to become a citizen of a country, they should learn the language of the country so that they may become a productive member of that country. Immigrants should be offered a free or cheap class in English so that they can work and live in America before they are offered citizenship. Perhaps colleges and the government could work together to create such a program. But in the future I want my children to be able to enjoy their American heritage and language instead of being forced to learn the Spainish one that they were not born into.

Overzealous Religous NUTS! on Hurricane Katrina

Mood: Fired up!
Listening to: 80s music

Hey everybody! This is the blog where I talk back to stupid people who make me mad or should be put in jail for the crime of not having a clue.

I just got an email today about my most favorite group of people, The Overzealous Religous NUTS, and what they think about hurricane Katrina. Personally I think these people need to get a LIFE and stop showing pictures of aborted babies outside of Chick-fil-a while my 6 year old sister is in the car, but thats just me. Heres a few excerpts from the email entitled 14 signs, if you recieve this email just throw this junk away.

"3) Last December, the largest tsunami ever recorded occurred, causing the "seas and the waves" to "roar" in Indonesia, destroying numerous tourist sex industry hotspots, including homosexual child-sex hotspots.

5) In September, New Orleans, which was about to hold a homosexual "Southern Decadence Festival," was hit with the worst hurricane in its history, causing severe damage and destruction to the city. Katrina also caused major damage to Mississippi's gambling industry.

11) Wilma hovered over the Yucatan peninsula for around 36 hours, probably another hurricane record for the longest time a hurricane has ever remained over a single landfall point; remaining predominantly over Cancun, battering Cancun with hurricane-force winds for over 36 hours. Cancun, a popular Yucatan tourist spot, has been famous for its child-prostitution and its tourist sex industry and as a U.S. college students' tourist party town."

You know about anywhere you go there will be some sort of sexual immorality thing going on... these "Signs" are pretty much wishful thinking.... its going to get much much worse before He comes back. >Back in WW2 every1 said all this immorality and war and everything shows that Jesus is coming back.... some even said Mussolini was the Anti Christ.... obviously wrong.... i wish people would quit trying to figure out every little thing and why this and that and other happened and say that a hurricane came to destory immoral places and abortions centers when it destoryed twice as many CHURCHES!!!!!
