Something's gone terribly wrong (7:00 a.m. - 8:00 a.m.)
Hello,
This is Brandon Smith at CTU Los Angeles. Many of you may not have heard about what I am about to tell you. Today Former President David Palmer was assassinated by a terrorist while he was visiting his brother and former chief of staff, Wayne Palmer. Palmer was shot through the neck and fatally wounded, but no one else in the building was attacked. The reason Tony cannot write this message is because he and his wife, Michelle Dessler-Almeida, were targeted with at their home. Details are sketchy but I believe that after I called Tony and Michelle about the assassination and asked for their help, (only they were still working at CTU during the previous attempts on Palmer's life) Michelle went to her car while Tony made a call. The car exploded, instantly killing Michelle. When Tony went to investigate he found his dead wife, when he went to try to help her, another explosion occoured. Tony is now in critical condition and is being worked on at a nearby medical facility. Before I tell you more, let me tell you some things that Tony may not have told you in his previous entry. After helping Jack fake his death, Tony and Michelle left CTU and remarried. They owned a buissness together in which they had much success. Up until now. All we can do is hope that Tony makes it through alright, hes the only one who would really know how to control this situation. Here at CTU we are doing our best to handle the situation, but one of our agents, Chloe O'Brien, (who I happen to think is pretty cute, but is probably sleeping with Spencer) has gone dark. (in other words she hasnt contacted anyone in quite some time.) Im really worried about whats going to happen today, I think that Jack has come out of hiding but no one else has really considered that possibility. One last thing, the President, Charles Logan, is supposed to meet with the Russian President at a summit today. We are now making sure that both of them are safe. I can assure you that nothing can go wrong, and now if you'll excuse me I have to get back to work.
